I'm with you on this one!  I started watching Family Guy for the first time when CN started showing it.  I watched it for a few weeks and then I stopped.  Sure, it's funny at all.  But after turning off the TV, and thinking it over for a bit, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  Point is, you're not the only one here who dislikes the show.

Simpsosn until somewhere around season 10ish (I haven't seen any of the post-season 11 episodes, my local station are to blame).

The Critic

Darkwing Duck

Earthworm Jim (You heard me!)

Dilbert (yes it didn't live up to the strip, but I like it)

Duck Tales

Of those listed I'm obviously going with #9 (for Darkwing Duck/The Critic).

well i'm tied between family guy, south park and simpsons, so i'm not going to vote either way.
in england there currently just showing season 14.
and to me it seems its alternating between improving slightly and getting even worse.
south park is inconsistent to. but its a lot better than series 13-14 simpsons.
hopefully matt groening and those closer to him will work a lot more on season 15, while beginning to have ideas and develop a new animated show

I have a variety of different tastes. I feel that if you're looking for crazy, joke-filled, almost plotless (but funny nonetheless) humor than Family Guy will be great.
So far I have the entire Invader Zim series DVD, South Park Seasons 1-2, Simpsons Seasons 1-3, the entire Clerks series (6 episodes, wow!), Transformers Season 1, Thundercats "Exodus" (first episode) VHS, and I'm thinking of buying the Family Guy DVDs.
I have a very sad life.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force - number one in th' hood, G! The idea of a bunch of giant fast food detectives who never bother solving any mysteries and instead bum around in their slob neighbour's pool totally had me hooked.

Space Ghost Coast To Coast also made a big impact on me. Totally original and there's not a talk show out there that can hold a candle to it.

Too bad CNX (the UK outlet for Adult Swim cartoons, adult anime and Spawn) has commited suicide.  :(

I grew up on the Simpsons so I'm gonna have to go with the original brain-child of Matt Groening. Running in a close second actually a dead heat between the two... The almighty quagmire is tottaly hitching my vote for Family Guy but my heart stays with my Simpsons. Ohhh BTW what the fuck has happened to Undergrads that show kicked ass, tottaly real, in an over-bulged sense... like Married With Children was.... god bless Fox... and damn them at the same time....

Ohhh Bevis & Butthead are the orignal but I could never dig the death-metal aspects... but anyways Space Ghost is the most abstract and creative cartoon ever.... beside only the great Ren & Stimpy.... the old school... back in the days of "Happy,Happy,Joy,Joy" which I still have memorized to this day... ... .... man I'm sick. God Bless The Issues Of These Grand Creators.

Darkwing Duck!!
I loved that show. Also GARGOYLES owns you.

I wish I could take my vote back and vote South Park, though. South Park is

1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

times better than Family Guy and should have more votes.

BUT--I voted other, just because I actually didn't notice the south park option until I already voted. I'm obviously blind AND stupid.

But since it is other--I'll throw my vote to SHE-RA!!!

I like Spongebob (don't ask), but there are loads of cartoons that are very very good: like Batman, Spiderman, Dragon Ball Z, Rescue Rangers, Ducktales. Now they aren't on tv anymore, it's sad, but I'm to old for it anyway. I read the comics now.

The best cartoon show ever was "The Peanuts". And there was a wonderful cartoon show in Germany which was called "Die Biene Maja" (in English "Little Bee Maja" ) a cartoon series of my childhood.
