The three last episodes were such a let down. I bought pyramids of mars a week after the finale and I was shocked to see how much better it was back then =/. Unfortunately throughout the whole of the last episode I was getting annoyed at everything that they were doing.

Everyone coming back.... (No need)
The doctor having loads of help (the doctor does not need help!!!!)
Two doctors... (enough said...)
The flick after the salute at the end (we're not Americans.... a tiny thing I know but... haha)

Thank god Russel T Davies has gone before hes just dragged the doctors name so much through the mud! Bringing the daleks and Davros back was utter rubbish. They didn't do bugger all with it really. Hopefully it picks up next season.

There being 2 Doctors (so happy) and The DoctorDonna was great.
RTD  wrote some good episodes so I don't know what your problem is. The Daleks and Davros are cool and I like seeing stuff from the original stuff. I may be fairly new to DW but I'm trying to learn as much about it as possible ask SoS.

He wrote some good episodes yeah. But unfortunately i've never really liked what he has done with the doctor, I think sos pointed out or someone did that the doctor was offended when someone said something about the Tardis instead of reasuring the Tardis =/.

Bringing everyone back was just a huge mistake that did nothing, he tried to go out with a bang. Fail! There was hardly anything about davros or the daleks. Just about stupid torchwood or Sarah Jane. Pointless.

I heard the cybermen were coming back? Oh look at that, they tell you about old stuff coming back then make it suck. *kif sigh*.

I'm not sure there has been an ending to any of the new series which did use originality... No im pretty sure that they've all been daleks or cybermen etc... That says quite a lot.

Ok I see your point they are over using old stuff.  I'm starting to get annoyed with the Cybermen and Daleks because they are being over used.Moffat will do better I hope, he definatly has more creativity.

I love Daleks, and as a kid it was a real highlight when they made a return, but they are suffering from overuse. Now the Cybermen obviously had a full series arc to themselves and two series later, they are back.

This doesn't bother me too much, because I want proper Cybermen from this universe this time around. Do you think that's what we'll get?

The problem with the Cybermen from "Pete's world" is that they have retconned their history with the Doctor, which is probably as involved as his history with the Daleks. By bringing back the real deal they will get over this problem.

Personally, I'd like to see herds of Wyrren in space... I love the concept.

But re: Journey's End. Davros was great but deserved more airtime and the whole thing was too much of an RTD swan song, etc.

And a real problem moment for me - stepping out of the TARDIS to face the Daleks why did the Doctor feel the need to say "goodbye" to everyone? Surely he had a few thoughts on how to get out of it - the despair was needless.

@Xanfor - can you translate that for me? I only know one language (just)

I know what the exterminen means but I don't what the rest means. I wis that they weren't over using the Daleks thay are awesome but over using stuff annoys me. I also wanted more Davros in Journey's End.

Extermineren! Extermineren! We know this isn't really German, but what the hell! Extermineren!

I was making fun of the fact that "extermineren" isn't a German word. There is no word meaning "exterminate" in German, the closest thing is "eliminieren" ("to eliminate", and what is used in the German dubbing of the show), and possibly "auslöschen" ("to purge" ).

Perhaps removing "extermineren" from the language was part of the Marshall plan.

EDIT: I have no grudge against Germans, but I like the fact that Brits still cant forget it. (The "don't mention the war" rule still applies)

It was never in the language to remove!  :p

Anyway, no comments on Music of the Spheres? The Doc reversed the polarity of the neutron flow again... Which would have been novel if he hadn't offhandedly mentioned the same in The Lazarus Experiment:)

Finally watched Music of the Spheres. I thought it was pitiful. Well, after the portal opened it was anyway.

Nice to hear the original theme music at the end though.

Wow, just watched the first episode "Rose", and I have to say, I absolutely loved it.  :D The story just sucks you in, and the guy who plays the Doctor is fantastic.

Yeah, I'm midway through the first series (or "season" as we from NA call them). I like his flippant and casual personality. Great fun.

Yeah I've actually started to call them series but series is the all the episodes but British people are crazy.

You'll probably like/love David Tennant as the Doctor but I guess we'll find out when you get to them

The crazy cat lady diseased one with the awful jacket.

As much as I don't mind the new ones, I would love to watch some of the older ones online. I can barely find any though :(.

Okay, I want to request one thing to change in the new series.

Stop introducing a character to us, giving them a personality so we should care and then killing them horribly off five minutes later. This is getting annoying to the point where you start holding bets with yourself how long this minor character is going to last.

No more Tennant hopefully equals no more Billie. This is good news but I'm guessing I'm the only person who is actually pleased about the news.  :D

With you all on the killing off of characters so damn quickly, a bit of permanence would be nice. Also I prefer it when he has more than one companion, it gets rid of the sexual tension angle.

I do agree Tennant was a good Doctor but am overjoyed this will be end of the Billy Piper messiah theme which was getting silly.

I am personally hoping the new Doctor has a drastic change of personality. I would like a grouchier more anti-social Doctor with a heart of gold next.

And yes, more companions that aren't single women in their twenties please. I'll never get used to the sexual overtones in the new one. And more Master plz :(.
