"Last Exit to Springfield" might be my all-time favorite episode.

Though decision, but eventually I went with "Cape Feare". I just love Sideshow Bob (as a character), having him in an episode is almost as good as Insta-Classic. "Hello Mr Thompson." "I think he's talking to you.""No, no, that's German. The Bart, the." Thanks AJ. And the rake scene!

Kamp Krusty: Very good, but maybe not quite "A" material.
Homer the Heretic: One of my faves. Very funny and insightful.
Mr. Plow: A tad overrated, but still loads of fun.
I Love Lisa: One of my faves
Last Exit: The winner here. I wouldn't put it as my fave episode ever (Lisa's Substitute gets that ranking) but its nothenless an amazing episode. When I made a top 50 list for the Nohomers board (someone was compiling some of the top members' lists to make an official 100 list for the board) it came in at number four for me.
Cape Feare: number five on that same list. One of my faves for sure.
Last Temptation: Eh... a "B" episode, maybe "B+". Its very funny for the most part, and Homer himself is loveable enough, but the story lacks the poignancy of "Colonel Homer" and especcially "Life on the Fast Lane", and quite frankly I just don't really care what's going on. The ending is sorta sweet, but this one is good as a second rate (by Simpsons standards) farce only.
Homer and Apu: Very good ep, but rather overrated. All of Greg Daniels' other episodes are much better. "Apu" is fun, but there are much more fun episodes and the humor aspect is all it really has going for it.
Deep Space Homer: Another favorite.
Bart Gets an Elephant: Eh...VERY thin and just not a particularly strong episode by classic Simpsons standards. Again, there's not so much WRONG with it, but it doesn't have that much going for it either when you rate it up even most other 1-8 episodes. One of season 5's weakest, and that's saying something since that season was a considerable drop from 1-4 (though still very good).

For the Season 6 poll:
"Homer The Great" (Patrick Stewart really make this episode. He's absolutely awesome as No. 1. Plus it's a great episode, with one of the best songs ever.)
Other than that I'll second "Lemon Of Troy", "Homie the Clown" and "Itchy And Scratchy Land".

"Homer the Heretic" has NO votes? That has got to be my favorite episode of all time! It's got my vote!
"Everyone's stupid except me"- Homer Simpson. Gawd I love that quote.

Last exit to Springfield has so many perfect comedic bits- "Is he coming on to me?", "You're going to make a big splash" and so on. Cape Feare is equally good- Kelsey Grammer is awesome.
LETS wins it for me, though.
