Wasn't the original Godzilla movie the black and white one with Raymond Burr? And didn't it have something to do with an oxygen eating device that, in the end of the movie, reduced Godzilla to bone?

Actually, Godzilla was only 30 meters tall in his first film. Godzilla's height was changed several times over the past 20+ years but the tallest he's ever been in any film is 100 meters.

To Eyedol: Raymond Burr wasn't in the original Japanese Godzilla film, but was in the Americanization "Godzilla, King of the Monsters!", which was rereleased theatrically in Japan with Burr's scenes subtitled into Japanese. And there was an oxygen-destroying device in the original Godzilla film. It was called the Oxygen Destroyer and it killed Godzilla, but another one of Godzilla's species emerged in sequals.

My favorite monster from the Godzilla movies would have to be Megalon

I don't watch the Godzilla movies (I think I saw one a long time ago), but I like the idea of an evil human-killing dinosaur and I refer to him alot when I talk. I even made a poem about him that I don't feel like finding right now.

Although to be accurate, Godzilla didn't actually fight against all of them.  Jet Jaguar and King Seesar were his allies; and of course he never fought against his son Minilla.

I'd also count Anguirus, Mothra, and Rodan as his allies, but he's fought against each of them at least once.

The only ones I haven't seen are the origional Godzilla vs Mothera, GxMxMG and GFW. I know the plots for them though.

And David A is right, Godzilla dosen't fight all of those mosters so it's not 41, more like 22.

And some of those monsters arn't even from Godzilla movies. Toho movies but not Godzilla.

Yes, but what he's saying is that the monsters listed as "Godzilla Related Monsters" are actually all of the monsters from Toho films, whether they're from Godzilla films or not.

Clicking on a monster will show you a list of all the films featuring that monster.  Not all of them are from Godzilla films.

Wrong again.  Not all of them have been in movies with Godzilla.  Some of them have only been in movies with other monsters that have been in Godzilla movies.  A few of them, like Dagora, have nothing to do with Godzilla, other than being monsters that appeared in films made by Toho.
