I think I've only seen like two episodes of KotH. I don't really hate it, I just don't find it to be very funny. But I do think it's weird that the show's managed to survive for such a long time. I've never really met anyone who was a gung-ho, diehard fan of the show.

Second TOTPD tonight.

I don't hate KOTH, I just don't find it funny.
However, I do find The Critic funny, and I'd like to use a quote from one of the DVD's audio commentaries:

Al Jean: "Mike [Reiss], what do you think of King of the Hill?"
Mike Reiss: "I always say, 'If I couldn't write comedy, I'd write for King of the Hill'"

I laughed when I heard that, and that statement pretty much sums up my opinion on KOTH.
But, I'd like to note that I watched it last night, and it was stupid. It seems like all episodes try to teach a lesson or have a moral. This episode's moral was, "Vulgarity is NOT funny!" To explain, the episode was about a new employee at Hank's workplace, who was disgusting. This was seriously unfunny and I'm glad that KOTH has been put in the 7:00 'death-slot'....
