Luckily I 'accquired' such episodes (along with all of season 8 up to now). That episode was great though, "I'm not gonna live in the third world, with all those conformists."

I loved that line. And the little baby goth was adorable.
I know it's been pointed out that Cripple Fight has choreography from They Live in it.. But I'll point it out again because everyone should see that movie.

A few days ago or so I saw the episode where Mr. Garrison made the IT machine in an attempt to bankrupt the airlines again.

Wasn't the kindergarden goth called Filmore?
@Bish: Season 8 isn't out in Australia yet either, I downloaded 'em off the net. Have you noticed the goths were also in 'Goobacks'?
I hope for the rest of Season 8 they leave Kenny's hood off permanently. That way they can give him more lines instead of just pushing him into the background.

Just sawed the "Earth is a reality show" one. Fuckin' hilareous. And they mention the Marklar again...  :)

Oh, and they're called "Goobacks" because they're from the future, and therefore "go back". Funny how something evolves into a derogatory statement...they nailed it right on

Actually, there's a racial slur, not sure what race it's for, but it's wetbacks. It's a take on that.

I second that Lampy.

In the ep they are covered with slime, or "goo" when they arrive in our time. Goobacks.

Cubans who try to sail or swim to Florida are called "wetbacks".

EDIT: See Tweek's post below.

Hmm, hence Elian Gonzales.

Speaking of which, that episode was on last night! You know, the one with the Romanian quintuplets. I completely forgot this was even an episode, and after watching it, I can remember why...there wasn't anything terribly funny in it. Sure, the ending was a nice little touch with saying the boys were worst of all and the guy with the various protest signs(Like "Free Kevorkian" and "Sleeping Bags Kill" ) was funny but nothing else was really. If there's one thing I want to know after watching the old people sex...did this episode come out before or after Mother's Day?

I cant wait to see the long-awaited new Lemmiwinks episode. His great "adventure" in The Death Camp of Tolerance was in my opinion, one of the greatest South Park moments ever. Apparently it is a parody of the animated movie of Tolkien's 'The Hobbit'.

That was on TV just the other day, and I turned it on right after the fight.  Like the very next shot.

I love that movie.  I gotta find it on DVD or something.

Are they planning on showing in the 2nd half of the season?

I thought the term referred to Mexicans who'd crossed the Rio Grande (Rio Bravo del Norte) to enter the US illegally, swimming from Cuba would be rather hard.

South Park doesn't have many one-off characters because they have very few guest stars. There have been some, but Matt and Trey do 90% of the male voices themselves, so they can just bring back characters whenever they please for a joke or two. Towlie and Kyle are prime examples.

The ending of that episode just cracked me up, especially when Cartman starts licking his tears. Damn he is messed up.

That's one of the very few episodes of South Park I've never seen. Cartman buys pubic hair from him?  :laff: Does Cartman actually kill him in that episode?

I think Kenny sucked, all he ever did was die and be poor.

Cartman and Butters are my favourite characters.

Cartman in Freak Strike: Maury, I am out of control. Yeah, I use drugs. I can do what I waunt, bitch! Yeah I have sex, and I don't use protection! It's my hot body; I'll do what I waunt! I don't go to school and I kill people! What-evah! I'll do what I waunt!

I always say that now, "Whatevah, I'll do what I want!"

And I love the way everyone is so mean to Butters, like in Fun With Veal:

Butters: Hey, look. Some other kids are doin' the same thing we are. [Cartman looks at him, then slaps his face hard]

And..

Butters: Good night, Patches. Good night, Halloway. Good night, Nepture. Good night, Davis. Good night, Bud. Good night, Red. Good night, Paulette. Good night, Chastity.

Cartman: Butters, I'm going to kill you over and over again.

Why does nobody ever remember Kenny as the kid who knew all the dirty words before everyone else, or the kid who laughed when everyone else was grossed out? That was what made him shine.

Its actually kind of ironic here.  You think the show has too much swearing, yet your favorite joke on the show apparently is the one involving the gruesome death(s) of a child.  Matt and Trey were really on to something with that movie.

I'd oust him as the fourth friend, put Butters back in there, and put Kenny in a background role like Token or Clyde; That way he could still die every now and then (Maybe once every 7 episodes like he's doing now), and the kids could still rip on him for being poor.

Screw that. Their fourth friend should be that giant trapper keeper thing. Then they could really get people to listen to their opinions.

What are you talking about newhook?! I would kill to have Towelie as a main character! He's a hell lot better  than Kenny or Trapperkeeper or Tweek.

He's a talking towel who's addicted to pott for christ's sake!! Who wouldnt want to see him?!

I love Towlie. He's one of the funniest characters ever, but just think about it. Wouldn't it be a bit much to have him as a main character? The joke of a stoned towel is funny in small doses but would get old after having 5 or 6 episodes straight of it. I'd love for him to come back every now and then, but it would spoil his character if he were in every episode.

It's the basic concept of having too much of a good thing, if you follow me.

You should. It's one of the few 4th grade Season 4 episodes that I actually like.  :p

While we're talking about some of our favourite things in South Park, I'd like to bring up something... the endings. As most of you have noticed, Matt & Trey love to end episodes in the worst places possible. What's your favourite ending to a South Park episode?

Personally, I love the endings to Cherokee Hair Tampons, A Ladder To Heaven and Goobacks... although my personal favourite would have to be Fat Camp.

"...Who's that?" So disgusting, yet so hilarious.  :laff:
