"They took my job!" is rapidly replacing "I'm Rick James, bitch!" as the thing everybody I know says every 30 seconds all day long.

I'm glad I haven't been hearing either of those phrases. The Rick James episode of Chapelle's Show and every episode after it has sucked. But the turds in my school are too dumb for South Park.

Aw no EL. That's ignorant, You're being ignorant.

I have to admit to being guilty of this. I ruined "You are all fools of the highest caliber!" for one of my friends, within 2 hours of the orginal airing of "Time Keeps On Slipping".

Luckily I'm done school till September, so no one has ruined "That's ignorant" for me.

I've been using "That's ignorant" at every possible moment at my school, and I'm the only person who's seen the episode. It's a fun way to get out of stuff and piss people off.

I don't think my memory is too good to conjure up a top 10 just like that, although "It's Christmas in Canada", "Tom's Rhinoplasty" and "The New Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer" are my most favourite episodes.

In 2003, shockwave.com gave Matt and Trey 2 million dollars to make a cartoon series they could run on their website. The result was "Princess" which pushed the limit too far and production was stopped.

Here are the only two episodes ever made. Not for the easily offended!

As much as I am a fan of his work, Trey has a sick mind. Of course that is probably why I'm a fan of his work in the first place. I saw both those episodes before (they've been leaked in the past). I think they're pretty funny, messed up, but funny notheless.

My top 10 favorite South Park Episodes:

1) Fun With Veal

2) The New Terrence And Philip Movie Trailer (This was without a doubt one of the funniest things on TV ever)

3) Professor Chaos

4) The Biggest Douche In The Universe

5) Free Hat

6) The Jeffersons

7) The Simpsons Already Did It

8) Red Hot Catholic Love

9) Rasians

10) Cartman Joins NAMBLA (Awesome like most of the first half of season 4, wish I could say the same for the second half.)

Yes I realise most of them are from season 6, but season 6 was one of the greatest things to ever grace television. I think the next 10 spots would have been filled with more Season 7/8/5 episodes for what it's worth.

*Edit* After looking over this list, I need to say something. I really hope the season 6 DVD's have full length commentary.

I agree - Season 6 was excellent, despite the annoyance of characters constantly changing (they had 3 different teachers within 15 episodes, not to mention the whole Butters/Tweek thing).

Still, the season was hilarious, and didn't have any episode that stood out in particular as being below average. Hell, my all-time favourite episode is from that season.

And, yes - The New Terrence And Philip Movie Trailer WAS one of the funniest things ever. I didn't go 30 seconds without laughing. Every scene was brilliant, Fighting 'Round The World was just plain hilarious (especially when Tugger walks around the streets somehow ) and the sub-plot with Chef's TV was pretty funny too. They never over-did anything with this episode, and every joke was in perfect balance. A perfect mix of social & technological sattire, celebrity bashing, smart humour, dumb humour, bad taste and offbeat running gags - all the things that make South Park such a terrific show. God, I love that episode... It'd be my personal favourite episode if The Biggest Douche In The Universe and Raisins weren't so great.

As for the Season 6 DVDs with full length commentary... hell, I'd love that - but I'd love it even more if they released the fucking South Park complete season DVDs in Australia!

You could be bothered to write different long lists for episode but not to make a simple top 5 or 10?

Obviously you haven't listened to the mini-commentaries in the season 3 DVD.

I would also say most of my favorite episodes fell between season 2-5. Once they took Kenny out for good, it just lost a little of its luster, but it's bouncing back so far with season 8. Unfortunately, there are still some bad ones in the lot, like that detective episode.

Also, as far as that Princess thing goes, I thought it was supposed to be offensive. They probably could have gotten away with something like that on South Park if it wasn't as graphic. I mean, they got away with a giant gay orgy.

Oh I've listened to them and I know that they'd prefer not to do full length ones. I've also listened to the full lenth season 1 commentaries and really enjoyed them. Granted 20 minutes may be difficult to fill, but the thing is they sometimes see things later in the episodes on the season 1 commentaries that jogs their memory, and they think of a funny story or joke. With the commentary minis, we're probably missing out on alot of that stuff.

The commentaries were removed from the season 1 box set because Warner Bros. wanted to edit them and Matt and Trey said no. The commentaries were later released as a CD from comedy central that you could get if you showed proof of purchase of the DVD. Info here: http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/southpark/dvd/

I thought I read somewhere else that Comedy Central was out of these CDs and didn't know if they'd be getting more. I might be insane though, so it's probably best to contact Comedy Central to find out if they're still available.

EDIT: Whoops, Bankrupt beat me to it.

You know what'd be great, though? If they did some full-length commentaries with more people? Imagine an episode commentary with Matt Stone, Trey Parker, Isaac Hayes (voice of Chef), Anne Garefino (executive producer), Eric Stough (animation director) and several other staff members!

Oh well, I can dream...

If I had done a top 10 instead of just a top 5, Butt Out would be on there for sure. Just that whole assembly with everyone freestyling, I laughed my ass off. Biggest Douche In The Universe is also great. If I can say anything about underrated episodes, I heard in the mini-commentaries that a lot of people don't like Sexual Harassment Panda. I was actually shocked, I love that episode. I also think Jakovasaurs is underrated too, a lot of people find those things annoying but I thought they were hysterical. Oh well, I guess it means I'm a Jar Jar fan then.

#1 Conjoined Foetus Lady - "This might sound odd coming from a woman with a foetus sticking out of her head but, YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF FREAKS!"
#2 The Simpsons Already Did it
#3 Toilet Paper - "Don't worry Stan, Kyle will be dead in a matter of hours." "Why would I TP my own house?" "Insurance?"
#4 Cancelled - "And the Americans and the Iraqis have an all-out brawl!"
#5 The Death Camp of Tolerance - "You will paint a rainbow!"
#6 Rainforest Schmainforest
#7 Chinpokomon
#8 The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka
#9 Do the Handicapped go to Hell?
#10 Probably

Oh my God, Cancelled. The end of that one was genious. "I think it's very, very important." And it contains the Taco that craps ice cream. [The one joke in that one that ALWAYS slays me is when you see 'Missy Elliott' singing for 2 seconds. So.. funny..] And I love when Cartman dresses as an Oma in Sri Lanka.

He also spoke in "Here Comes The Neighborhood" which is, I think, the only episode where the one of main storylines revolves around him and his family. He also has a part in "The Return of the Lord of the Rings to the Two Towers", and as boingo said "Professor Chaos".

That brings the total count to 5. Can anyone think of any others?

I love that episode too. My favorite part is when Cartman finds out that he drank Kenny.

Stan: Do you know what this means?! You drank Kenny!

Cartman: Shut up.

Kyle: Yeah dude! You drank his whole body!

Cartman: SHUT UP!! Really!?
