Wait.. is that a dance off as in DDR? [That looks like a machine in the back.] Unlikely, but one can dream. The goth kid! I love his hair flipping animation. Looks good, though it could turn out to be another 'Trend' episode..

Sadly, that's not the hair flipping goth.  :(

I like the looks of this one, but I just really like Butters anyway, one of my favorite characters of all time. I can just imagine a flash back of Butters dancing and eight people dying around him somehow. Poor Butters.  :laff:

I can only imagine how they died. Oh, that's not him? Huh. Looks like him. :mind is going: I love Butters so much, but.. the poor fellow. He's like Zoidberg. You just wanna hug him and give him a cooky. I hope his eye is better..

The hair flipping goth rules.  He is this guy I know.  The similarity is seriously creepy.  But I guess everyone knows a guy exactly like that.  Hence the intrinsic appeal of the character.

Well in my book at least. Very much looking forward to this although still no news on 8-02. Strange.

Here's another pic of tonight's episode.

There's Mercedes from the Raisins episode. Perhaps we'll see a lot of previous characters in this whole dance contest.

Great episode.  The concept itself is so ridiculous it's funny.  Why would people come up to you and start dancing in your face?  The Butters flash back was the funniest thing I've seen in the new season so far.  That part was so overplayed, it had me crying.  That guy scooping his intestines back in!  It was also nice to see some different characters as central to the episode.

I have some catching up to do.  I haven't seen the episode with Raisins.  I also haven't seen the episode with Lemmiwinks in it.  I've missed a lot.

See this is why I like South Park. Just when it seemed like the episodes were starting to stick to the formula again("I learned something today...." ), they come up with something like this. Awesome stuff, probably the most laughs of any episode since season 6, and just another example of why Butters is my favorite South Park character.

I thought this episode was very good. I very much liked how they looked back at some old characters (e.g. the goths and Raisins girls) and thought it was very funny as well. Butters was as always great too.

I loved the episode "Passion of the Jew." I will never be able to take that movie seriously again! I also liked the one on the other night. I totally agree with you, Nasty Pasty. That was a great idea, to make fun of break-dancing.  :D   :)   :D

It was so funny seeing that skinny asian kid playing DDR in this weeks episode. It's even funnier when you live in a New Jersey Suburb overran with Asians like that.

Does it dance to any other songs?!

I loved this weeks ep! I saw it last night after Family Guy. Not as good as "The Passion of the Jew" but good none-the-less. I love the way that the kids just come up to them out of nowhere and dance in their faces.

The flashback with Butters is awesome, too. With the man scooping his intestines back into himself...*shivers*...and the song...Oh, the song!...

And the ending is great. Those OC kids really deserved it.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Wow. Just.. Wow. The only thing I can complain about in this episode is that the ending was a little rushed. But other than that, we have Butters [+1] tapdancing [+2] and killing 8[11?] people with his SHOE[+10]. We have ducks [+1] dancing [+3] to songs about heroin [+5] and old timey musical numbers about 'something in a pocket'[+20]. Then we have goths and Raisins girls[+10] and chronic DDR players [+40].
Jimbo and Mr. Garrison talkin' like playahs? Plus eight. And that my friends is a solid one hundred points- plus maybe another hundred for eyeballs shooting out of sockets. AWESOME.

One of the best parts was when Stan's dad got uber-served by the other dancer. He's badly wounded and is in the hospital. Hilarious.

I saw it on Wednesday and again last night. It seemed kind of like a stupid idea, but they did some really funny shit with this one. You can't ignore classic lines like the front pocket song, "I'm so non-conformist I'm going to not conform to you guys, yeah I'll do it", and "We need a girl in our group or people are going to think we're fags". The entire "you got served" and "it's on" things were funny too. And the episode has possibly the best ending of any South Park I've seen so far. But when I saw the commercial saying the best character ever was coming back, I thought they were talking about Towelie. He could use another episode, but a new Lemmiwinks saga should be funny as well.

Hey, yeah! When I saw that promo, I thought they meant Towelie, too. But Lemmiwinks is just as classic. I'm not sure what else they could possibly do with Towelie if he came back, though. He's somewhat close ended. Just imagine what adventures Lemmiwinks could have. His character[if any] is open for development. And there'll be more singing I bet... I so called that there'd be DDR in that ep. I pwn. Anyway, what I meant to say was that the horrific death scene in Butters' flashback would have been better if the song kept playing. I really liked the part where he was digging through his stuff and saw fresh blood on his shoes. That made it seem rather like a horror movie, being so haunted by something that you see blood where there is none. [One would think his parents would have washed the shoes before putting them away, and that looked like new blood, so don't go posting "WFT THERE WAS BLOOD ON THEM LLREDY FRUM 2 YRS AGO" - I know what you're going at already and I disagree.]
