Okay, so after re-watching both series 1 and 2 on YouTube, I must aquire about the 3rd series.

Will it be done? are we getting a an hour long 'wrap up special' episode instead?

No and no.

The few minutes at the end of "Skip To The End.." are all we're going to get.  Simon's taken great pains to explain why Spaced won't return.  The five-live podcast & any other interviews he's given tell enough.

We can expect more movies from the Holy Trinity (Pegg, Frost and Wright), but no more Spaced.

Cate Blanchett random uncredited cameo!

Hot Fuzz kicks all kinds of ass. I need to see it again, 'cause at the moment, I'm having difficulty pinpointing the bits that made me laugh the most.

Beyond the entire last half hour, or so. Oh man.

Wicker Man, Straw Dogs, Seven, were some of the most notable references.  Point Break is the most obvious, as well as Bad Boys 2.

Anyone who didn't bust a gut laughing at the old lady getting a flying kick to the head, well, they have no sense of humour.

Preeeetty sure there was a Chinatown reference, too. But I am uncertain.

I have no idea what all the references were, I'll wait for the Offical DVD (until then, I'll watch my hooky copy again).

I didn't realize it was him until today...he was using his gravely voice like when he was in his showdown with Jack on 30 Rock.

This trailer from "Grindhouse" was directed by Edgar Wright.  Look out for Pegg and Frost in there (Frost is in the basement).

Voiced by Will "GOB" Arnett.  Fab!

Er, no.  It's one of the fake trailers which is part of "Grindhouse", the new Quentin Tarantino movie.

Here's Edgar talks about his trailer

Also look out for Rafe Spall and Mark Gatiss in "Don't" too.

Bump

Hey guys I was wondering about your thoughts on the Hot Fuzz DVD if you got it. First thing first I so love the movie, Nick and Simon are the funniest and the cutest actors ever. Most of the supporting actors were really good. The DVD extra features are really good. I am half way through the Commentary with Nick, Simon and other Sandford Police Service. I like their blog (workout blog  ) and the Nick and Simon love moments at the end of the bloppers.

Hmm I been looking around the net and I can’t find out when series 2 of Hyperdrive is going to be shown on the BBC because the DVDs will be coming out soon.

I think Frost is still filming Hyperdrive.  The first series is out soon, I already have it because I snagged it off a mate who Skyplussed all of the 1st series.

The extras on the Fuzz DVD are great, I've still got 1 commentary and most of the 2nd disk to go yet.  Although I did watch the "Dead Right" movie, which is bizarre.

Dead Right was odd but it was also pretty funny and good considering it was made when he was still school aged. Hot Fuzz was quite funny as well.

Jessica Hynes (formerly Stephenson) is on a new show in the Autumn, with David Tennant.  Learners.

Saw a few previews on News 24.  Looks pretty good.
