*drools* Awesome stuff. So, cja? Came crawling back eh?I can't wait for tomorrow! On a related note, I have learnt all the hand actions to little mouse and delight in performing to my friends and then being throttled as they tire of it. Fun. Also, I saw a few seconds of According to Bex on Friday. It pains me to say this but...... I thought it was crap. TOTPness!

Right, LAY was top!
Loved it, especially Mark Heap as Leonard Hatred, the inventor of Psilence, and Harry Enfield as The Ghost Of Tsaichovski.

The first Ep is "Music" and second is "Health". I'm still looking forward to the "Computers" episode.
Be aware, Edgar is returning also. It also has Mark Heap in it! And Kevin Eldon! Woo! Wow that was Harry Enfield? Yeah I love the Tsaichovski bit especially the bit in the end where Peter said to him “Thankchovski” the music 2000 bit was cool too. The first and second song where so funny. I don’t like the rapping song. The best character in music episode is Toni Baxter “I don’t know”

Yes t'was an enjoyable show even Josie D'arby or whatever her name is did well.
I think I'm starting to develop a thing for Olivia Coleman (The one that was also in Peep Show)
Simon Pegg is on next week.

Olivia Coleman, wasn't she also in Green Wing? I watched the show again this morning, and love more about it. The vague discomfort of the presenters, the return of Jack Morgan, Michael Fenton-Stevens as the head of ROPRA, the Post Office Tower at No.1 for six weeks. All excellent. Looking forward to next week. Thankovski!

Yeah! I watched that the other day, so she's still fresh in my mind. Strangely attractive too. Also, anyone notice the brilliant bit at RoPRA when the guy knocks on the door and is told to "Go out". Hilarious!

LAY was teh awesome. When we saw a clip of little mouse I ran around the house screaming with excitement. My parents thought I was being raped - true story. I loved Mark Heap's character. He's generally awesome in whatever role though...he has a kind of cute nervousness, especially as Brian. - Who is it? - Father Christmas -Oh...it's you Awwww! The silence spray freaked me out slightly...maybe it's because I have a phobia of ears...or something. So, yes, great program, I can't wait for next week, although Little Mouse is much better than reggae man. Yes...yes...yes...no...no...n o...

Agreed regarding Heap, I loved Leonard Hatreds "...annoyments...". The fact that his wife and sister live with him and have a condition which causes them to scream insessantly.
A lot of LAY is vaguely freaky, especially Ghosts from Series 1.

Not at all. Series 1 is a spoof on the Science For Schools programmes from the 70's and 80's, specifically Experiment and Physics In Action. It features cameos from Edgar Wright, Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, Paul Putner, and Sarah Alexander among others.
Series 2 is more of a spoof of Tomorrows World from the 80's.
LAY is too hilarious to describe adequately.

Damn! Hot Fuzz to come and now this: From Amazon: Scott Pilgrim is 23 years old, lives in a cold, unnamed Canadian town, plays bass in a band called Sex Bob-Omb and has a very cute 17-year-old Chinese-Canadian girlfriend, Knives Chau. His "precious little life" is amiably unstructured, and he drifts, happily unemployed, between band practice and time spent with Knives. His relationship with Knives is chaste—walks, chats and hugs—although Knives is getting bigger ideas. "We haven't even held hands," Scott explains. "It's just nice, you know." But then he starts having dreams about Ramona Flowers, a mysterious, equally cute and perfectly legal hipster chick on Rollerblades who delivers books for Amazon.com. Ramona is anything but simple, and O'Malley's tale of adorable slackers in love is transformed into a wildly magically manga–kung fu fantasy adventure. We meet the first of Ramona's seven evil ex-boyfriends, Matthew Patel, who challenges Scott and his band to a supernatural martial arts duel right out of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. O'Malley has crafted a delightfully hybrid comics love story. It's an alt-lit, rock 'n' roll graphic novel with wonderful manga-influenced drawing and a comically mystical plot that manages to capture both the genuine intimacies and serial dishonesties of young love. Wonder if he'll get Pegg to star? Or will he make his break?

I dunno about star especially since its about a early 20's Canadian kid, but would be cool to see some of Spaced/Sahun cast in the flick. I'll have to get the book too sounds pretty cool. Man I cant wait!

Heheh tonight’s Look Around you was great. My favourite parts are The Electric Toothbrush, Medibot, Cobbles and the “Thank you” part at the end.
It was really funny this week

Yes, cobbles is bad, but at least they can fly. Awesome-ness, but I think I enjoyed last week's episode more though. Meh. Any chance of a LAY thread? I would start one, but I'm scared. Also, the best title I can think of is: "Thanks ants....thants. The Look Around You Thread." Sucky. *pokes various PEELers with a stick until they make one*

Yes! I have to say that the seventies ad for "Jenny" and "Lenny" (with Mr. Pegg) toothpaste took the cake for me on Monday's LAY. As did Medibot. Better title would be "Danger: Helvetica! The Look Around You Thread" - however, that said, it may get closed because it belongs either in here or the BritCom thread. EDIT: Check this out! Machadaynu!

Melll: Neat. Anyway, I was in the car last night, and what did I hear on Radio 4? Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson! They were advertising red nose day, and it really sounded like Spaced. Ah, memories. I thought it was pretty cool, but then again, everyone probably already knows this and I'm typing it out for nothing. Meh. Whoa, freaky, when I was typing this, I could hear someone on TV in the other room saying how great SOTD is. In more depressing news: I won't see LAY on Monday *sob*, I hope my friend remembers to record it...

I'd heard that Radio Ad on Five-Live. I recognised Simon Pegg on there. Their profile is quite high at the moment, what better time to bring Spaced back? Even show some re-runs.

Although I missed Monday's epsiode of LAY, my friend taped it for me, so I shall watch it later on. Thants! I can't wait. This week is Pam's birthday isn't it? Only 40 minutes to go! Also, did anyone see Simon Pegg host a Brit award? I only saw a tiny tiny bit, but he looked scared. Awwww. Also, if anyone's interested he was interviewed in the NME last week and hosted the NME awards with Mr. Nick Frost, no less. Did anyone see it? T'was on the moving picture box on Friday. Charlotte Hatherly was also nominated for sexiest female I think. Thanks for you time PEELers....theelers.

I'm missing tonights as I'm at work, but I'm having it taped for me.
I saw the NME awards, and Simon and Nick were the best thing on it. Especially Simons voiceovers as the award winners were coming to the stage. Hilarious!

Best bit about LAY:
Clive Pounds, (Paul Putner) the MD of Big C's, in a massive callback to the "Sulpher" episode of Series One, was the brother of Len Pounds, the guy who was made to drink Sulphagne - hence the picture of Len (with nasal corks) on his desk.
More layers than an onion.

Yeah, the "disturbing" picture, I loved it! Also, the Computers Ep, is the B3ta one, so it should be fantastic. EDIT: Anyone else see the appearance of "Zombie Mary", Nicola Cunningham in the old fashioned "Futuristic" film, wth the large parrot? She's lovely.
