My initial plan was to do one that scrolled sideways, I've seen one as an avatar on the Spaced-Out board, and thought it was cool.
If someone (more) talented (than me) wants to have a go at one then I'd certainly like to see it.
This sig is based on the first trailer on the S1 DVD, just in case anyone didn't notice.

*Bump* With Spaced-Out showing no signs of coming back... Shaun Of The Dead UK DVD Release - Monday 11 October. This should be out in time for my dodgy copy to be worn out. No sign of any extras, but it's a fair bet that there'll be a commentary, and deleted scenes on there. Still holding out for the homage-o-meter.

One other thing I remember, was that the Zombie extras recruited by Simon Pegg on the Spaced-Out Board, reported that Pegg was hanging around on set shooting footage with a camcorder, so expect some kind of Video Diary on the DVD. This, from Moviesonline.com: This info is from various Chat transcripts and me.
As well as extra footage ( 7 mins was cut out for pacing all will be on the DVD). Expect a whole cast commentary , as well as an extra Simon and Edgar one. May even be a special Bill and Penelope commentary
As well as this Simon has talked about a special version of the film that was being created, a "airplane" version where the swear words have been badly dubbed out to hilarious effect.
Being on set I noticed a lot of Behind the scenes footage being filmed, not only by other film crews but the stars themselves. Simon has said that some of the stuff was for himself to remember the memories of making his first film, but that quite a bit would be added for the DVD extras. Another thing which I've just (this minute) worked out, is that Jessica Stevenson's character, Yvonne's appearance in the movie is a massive massive reference to Resident Evil 2 (the game, not the movie). Reason being, that there's another movie going on in SOTD, which is Yvonne's story (running alongside Shaun's story), this is the same premise of RE2, whereby once you complete the game as the bloke, you can put in disk two and play the game again, from a different perspective as the girl. This is the same implication of Jess's character - she is not a parallel universe version of Shaun, she just has a parallel story, exactly like the girl in RE2. Can't believe I missed that.

Unfortunately, with the recent demise (or, long term hiatus) of Spaced-Out, we won't get to find out yet. As Mr. Pegg has currently got nowhere to post his Spaced news. Unfortunately, I can't see him becoming a PEELer. I posted a few pages back that they'll get onto it once all of the hoopla over Shaun Of The Dead has died down. This won't be until after October, which is the Aussie release of the movie, as they'll be doing press and stuff. The big date is 17 September, which is the US Release Date for SOTD. Also, bear in mind that Pegg and Nick Frost have also got another sitcom, La Triviata coming soon too. Personally, I'd like to see some concrete news on Series Three of Spaced by the end of the year. This largely depends (I believe) on the worldwide success of Shaun Of The Dead.EDIT: Browsing Sendit.com I saw this, the boxed set of Spaced 1 & 2 was re-released recently, so one wonders what the "Definitive Collectors Edition" will be. It's released in September.

*Bump*
Fellow ESPGers, I need your help.
Since I've been into Spaced, I've been looking for a site which has all of the episodes transcribed into script-form. So far, I've come up with nothing, so I've decided to create one myself.
Also, this will be another fan resource if/when Spaced-Out comes back up.
This is quite a large task, so I'm asking for some of the ESPG to help-out.
My first task is to transcribe Shaun Of The Dead, then I'm going to move onto Series One of Spaced.
Would anyone like to help?

Good luck with it, I'd help but I'm about to move house (and get married soon too) so I'm proper busy at the mo. Will help later if you're still at it tho. As a side note, do you know if the script of Shaun of the Dead is available on-line?

It will be, once I've done transcribing the pirate-DVD I have of it. It's pretty good quality, so I don't anticipate any problems.

Melll: Good idea Hopefully this is of some help. I saw an episode of Jam the other day, can't remember much cause I was quite possibly drunk and half-asleep. It had Mark Heap( Brian from Spaced) in it but I didn't really get the humour. Usually I love bizarre stuff, but this was the thing of nightmares and bad trips

Alenacat, that site looks like it might be of some help! I'm a big fan of Jam (Mark Heap is great in it - the sketch in which he throws himself into a chipper as a love-token to the girl who recently dumped him is priceless). Chris Morris ThreadI'm going to make a start on Shaun later today.

Shaun is coming along slowly, I'll be able to make headway this weekend. Anything else to contribute towards the site would be welcome (wallpapers?).

Yeah, that DVD looks like it's gonna be the dogs nuts. Shame about the homage-o-meter though, I have high hopes for the Director/Writer commentary by Wright and Pegg filling us in on the references. Anyone else wants to contribute grabs and stuff to the site, please holler. It all will be very much appreciated. EDIT: I've put page one of Shaun Of The Dead up, so if you want to have a look it's here. Here's page 2 of the SOTD Script.

Cat, just send the script.
As Impy's created a photobucket for the grabs, I'd use that.
Impy, that's fan-flipping-tastic! Scanning through those grabs is like watching the episode.
