Finding Nemo isn't out in Australia and Shrek is overrated, so i chose Monsters Inc because it's by far the most original.

Toy Story 2 because it improved the story over the original.

Monsters Inc. That film is just so visually beautiful to look at and watch, and the story is really cool and unique too  :)

I think you'll go with Finding Nemo when it comes out, but, with your list, I'll have to say Monsters Inc.

The Animation in Final Fantasy is just awesome, so it definatly deserves a mention, but i'd have to say final flight of the osiris, most the others are a bit two 'kiddy' for my taste

Ice Age -- not only does it have cool dodo jokes, but it also features the archetypical "angry-comic" Denis Leary as a voice actor. Great fun.

although i agree that the animatrix final flight...blah, blah was excellant and probably had the most realistic animation ever it wasn't a movie on its own.

All 9 episodes of the Animatrix were played in cinemas. 9 animated shorts, and if sheep555 gets his lamp thing, the rest of us have final flight of the osiris!

I've got to go with Finding Nemo. Its story, and its animation of the undersea world is phonomenal!

I haven't seen Finding Nemo yet, so I can't comment on it.

I also haven't seen Animatrix or Toy Story 2 - and I don't intend on ever seeing them.

Anyway, I'm going with Shrek on this one. The graphics are great, it's a joy to watch - and it's ACTUALLY funny. Okay, so it's not that funny - but it's the funniest out of all the others. I mean - if you can't find humor in a bird exploding, I pity you!  :p

I also vote for Shrek so I clicked "other". The part with Robin Hood was great, I love it in those movies when someone starts to sing a song and someone else pounds the crap out of them.

*EDIT* crap no wait I know this doesn't matter because I voted "other" anyway, but I vote South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut which while it wasn't 3d rendered was done 100% on computers.

finding nemo, monsters inc, shrek, toy story 1 & 2 are among the greatest movies in recent history. i really liked ice age and antz, but they were not quite on the same level. my list of fav films are dominated by these and miyazaki films.

In This order:
- About the Birds (not sure of the title)
- Final Flight of the Osiris (It's the matrix!!)
- Final Fantasy (just for level or realism)
- Luxo Jnr (Pixar animation as mentioned earlier)
- Monsters Inc (the fur is awesome)
- Shrek
- Toy Story
- Killer Bean 2
- Ice Age

About the Birds is the short animation played before Monsters Inc. Great animation... and it's frigin hillarious

Don't forget SouthPark (2D, but all computer rendered) - it doesn't go in my list since it's not really a classification here.

"Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming"

It's gotta be Finding Nemo. It's one of the best animated films ever. It's going to win the Osacr for animated feature for sure. I wouldn't be surprise if it gets nominated for best picture. But anything done by Pixar desereves high marks. Ice Age also gets honorable mentions just because of Scrat (I've got a 4 foot by 6 foot banner [those big posters a movie theaters] of Scrat.).  :D

Newhook_1 voted for South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut, which I do personally think is better than all of these movies, but I'm sticking with my Shrek vote, as this topic seems to be for 3-D rendered movies.

For me it's a tie between Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.  But Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are also great.  Anything Pixar makes rocks.  Each movie they make is better than the last one.

Final Flight of The Osiris.
Then Toy Story and Monsters Inc.
And also that "The Birds" short was cool.
