8 Season 5 titles revealed!

 http://www.titansgo.net/singleposts.php?id=216

Quote
Boy, do we have an update for you.

TitansGo.net has received the titles and order of eight Season 5 episodes from a source close to production. The new season will have the usual 13-episode count, so keep in mind that this is not a full list. Season 5 kicks off in November with the two-parter "Homecoming" ... followed by "Trust" ..... "For Real" ..... "Snowblind" ..... "Kole" ..... "Hide and Seek" ... and "Lightspeed", then the rest of the season in that order. Barring any scheduling changes, of course. Here's a rundown on what has been revealed so far for a few of these episodes:

- 501/502 - "Homecoming" (Parts 1 & 2): it was recently reported by Comics Continuum that Season Five opens with a two-parter featuring Beast Boy and the Doom Patrol (Mento, Elasti-girl, Robotman, Negative Man). We've been told that "Homecoming" will be the title for both these parts.

- 504 - "For Real": revealed by IMDB way back in March to feature a new villain named Le Blanc (based off French thief Le Blanc of the 1960s Teen Titans series), Control Freak, Titans East, and Silkie.

- 505 - "Snowblind": reported by Animation Insider to introduce Red Star, a new Titan who hails from Russia. Red Star dates back to the 1960s Teen Titans series, and wields power he received from a mysterious alien craft that crash-landed in his country.

- 506 - "Kole": we've been told that this episode features (well, clearly) new Titan Kole. As hinted at during San Diego Comic-Con, expect her to be accompanied by Gnarrk, another new Titan. Both Kole and Gnarrk hail from classic Teen Titans stories: In the comics, Kole's ability to form crystalline objects from thin air resulted from her parents' experiments, which her father ran in order to bestow humankind with a way to resist nuclear devastation. Kole eventually died during the DC Universe crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths", in which other classic DC characters met their demise (most notably the first Supergirl). Gnarrk was a regular prehistoric caveman who was accidentally transported to the Titans' present time. He became close to a psychic Titan named Lilith (who he ended up marrying), and eventually learned how to live among civilized society with help from the team. Sounds crazy, we know. We can't wait to see these two either.

- 508 - "Lightspeed": we reported way back in May that "Lightspeed" will introduce the much anticipated Kid Flash, a Titan gifted with super-speed. Kid Flash was one of the original "Fab Five" from the 1960s series and co-founded the first Teen Titans team. We had word that "it should be very obvious which Kid Flash it is, much more so than Robin". So for this Kid Flash's identity, tune in when "Lightspeed" airs.

Stay tuned for more Season 5 news as it comes. And don't forget, the two-part "Homecoming" kickstarts it all this November.

Hide and Seek: Jericho'll probably be in this one.

Homecoming Part 1: When Beast Boy's former team THE DOOM PATROL is in trouble, the Titans must embark on a daring mission to save them. Beast Boy explains that this can only mean one thing: the Doom Patrol's greatest foes are back. THE BROTHERHOOD OF EVIL has returned.

Homecoming Part 2: The Doom Patrol has been saved, but the sinister Brotherhood of Evil is still on the loose. It's just like old times for Beast Boy when he finds himself back on the team for one last mission - to stop the Brotherhood once and for all... no matter what the cost.

Trust: The Brotherhood of Evil has begun its master plan to eliminate all of the young superheroes around the globe, starting with honorary Titans Wildebeest and Hotspot. This new threat brings Robin to Morocco. But with an unknown enemy, how can anyone know who to trust?

For Real: Control Freak returns to Titan Tower with “The Ultimate Titans Challenge”, a series of events designed specifically to challenge the Teen Titans. But what happens to Control Freak’s big plan when he finds himself facing not the “real” Titans – but the Titans East?

Snowblind: While battling a mysterious creature in the wilds of Siberia, Starfire is lost in a blinding snowstorm. A reclusive young soldier named Red Star comes to her aid and the two become fast friends. When Robin and the rest of the Titans arrive, they discover Red Star hides not only a tragic past, but a destructive secret.

Kole: While in the Arctic Circle, the Teen Titans once again take on Dr. Light. And when an accident sends the Titans through the ice, they discover a new exotic Underworld --and two new superheroes, Kole and her caveman sidekick Gnarrk.

Hide & Seek: With the other Teen Titans off fighting exciting battles with the Brotherhood of Evil, Raven is left with the worst task of all -- transporting three rambunctious future superheroes to safety. But this simple task turns into an adventure in babysitting as Raven and her young charges are chased through the Alps by the Brotherhood of Evil's Msr. Mallah.

Lightspeed: With Titans dispatched across the globe, members of the Hive Five figure they have it made. Unfortunately their city-wide crime spree is cut short when a new hero in town spoils the fun. Handing him over to the Brotherhood of Evil may score the Hive Five points, but actually catching this lightning-fast do-gooder is much harder than it seems.

Revved Up: Robin's most prized possession is stolen by the hip hot-rodder DING DONG DADDY, and to get it back they're going to have to beat him in a cross-country ROAD RACE. But with Ding Dong Daddy making the rules and a few unexpected rivals joining in the competition, it's anyone's guess who will cross the finish line first!

Go: How did ROBIN meet STARFIRE?  What was BEAST BOY's first joke?  Why did CYBORG build his Sonic Cannon?  When did RAVEN first call the Titans her friends?   Return to the very beginning and see how it all started – from the word "GO!"

Calling All Titans: The final game has begun. While the Titans are spread out throughout the globe on one last mission, Brotherhood mastermind the Brain makes his move. Robin has a strategy of his own, but as all the villains begin taking down all the superheroes all at once, will it be enough to save his friends?

Titans Together: All seems lost for young heroes across the globe: they have been spread far and wide, their lines of communication have been severed, and one by one, the Brotherhood of Evil takes them down. But as The Brain claims his victory is assured, one brave hero manages to slip thorough the Brotherhood of Evil's grasp.

Things Change: After months of fighting the Brotherhood of Evil around the globe, the Teen Titans are finally back home. But a walk through the city reveals that things are no longer as they remembered. And while Beast Boy wants everything to be just like it was in the past, he has to face the fact that in life things change.

I'm only disappointed by "Go," because I'm of the opinion that TT didn't, and doesn't, need an origin story....Other than that, season 5 looks awesome.

It all looks good. Red Star kinda sounds like a Titans character I made up a while back. Tragic past, destructive secret. But Red Star was created before I came up with my character, so I can't say anything bad.

I might be the only one pleased that there is an origin episode. It would be nice to see how they all met.

This season sounds Beast Boy heavy, and Beast Boy episodes are always kick-ass (Employee Of The Month anyone?).

You're right, "GO" does seem kinda unnecessary. Especially with how forced origin stories tend to be.

I assume "Light Speed" is the episode that introduces Kid Flash. It seems like the writers are building more and more continuity between episodes, which I like. Many ofthe one-off joke episodes kinda disappoint me.

There was a time when I would have disagreed with that opinion, but it does seem kind of superfluous to have one now.

Red Star was created before most of the characters on the show were.  Of course, he wasn't always called that.  He only got his current name after his original one was taken by a certain Tamaranean princess.

Looks like from the previews of Part II that Rouge is gonna show up...

I loved this episode. It wasn't the best, in my opinion, but it was awesome. The music hearkened back to not only the 60's cheesy hero music, but also the fact that Doom Patrol the show is using is the Silver Age version of the Doom Patrol.  Brain's "Oh, look! The little green one! How nice - a family reunion!" line was great. Anytime a robotic voice like that can be still sarcastic is great. And the jungle backgrounds were just gorgeous. I'm lookin' forward to Part II.

The new season is off to a great start.  Was anyone else getting an Incredibles vibe from this episode, or was it just me?  I like the fact that Beast Boy's uniform is actually his Doom Patrol uniform.  That was a nice touch.

Just one complaint: The Doom Patrol get first names, but the Titans still don't?   :nono:

For anyone wondering which Flash the Kid Flash in "Lightspeed" is gonna be, titanstower's animated TT site ( http://www.titanstower.com/source/animated/00indexanimated.html ) has revealed that he will be voiced a one Michael Rosenbaum.

If that don't make it clear which Flash Kid Flash will be, then hell - I'm sorry to say it, but you're really stupid.

It should be obvious which episode that guy's gonna appear in...

also, there's this (which I was VERY happy to read):

We also talked to the producer of the show, Glen Murakami. His office is amazing btw! X-D Just check out the photos below. We talked a lot about the show, how the show is made. Random tidbits about some of our favorite episodes such as the recent Doom Patrol episodes, how space tofu came about into becoming an episode. I'm also really looking forward to the Teen Titans DVDs that will be coming out that contains Mr. Murakami's commentary about each episode.(Bold added-RS) I just hope he remembers the details from all of the episodes.  :)
