I just thought that, with the top hat, Raven looked a bit like her, that's all.

I never really saw the show as a "for kids" show. I'm 17 and I find the show rather violent and sometimes mature for a 7 year old audience(As I said before, IMO Incredibles violent), and that why I love it. But I find it can appeal to everyone if they really like the material, like the anime-like mannerisms everyone posseses. But to respond to your comment about the Teen Titans porn, I know what you mean.

She was in an episode this season called "This Little Piggy."

Back on topic, is the new episode going to be replayed anytime soon?  I know CN likes to repeat episodes into the ground, so luckily I can catch it.

I know that.  I just haven't seen that episode yet.

I know how you feel about missing the new episode.  I was lucky enough to catch "Bunny Raven" this week, but I usually manage to miss the new episodes the first time they're shown.  I saw the Terra episodes all out of order.

Okay, guys, go out and buy some ceral made by Post, and make sure the box has picture of one of the Titans on it.

Why?

1.  http://www.titansgo.net/singleposts.php?id=115

Postopia.com and Post Cereal are having a Teen Titans promotion. You may or may not have noticed Post cereal boxes in your local grocery store featuring Robin and the others on their box art. Post is offering codes with the cereal boxes that fans can enter into their website at Postopia.com in order to unlock features of their Teen Titans site section.

Sometime in January, you can unlock a "lost episode" of the Teen Titans battling a villain named Punk Rocket in a battle for "Sonic Supremacy". So if you see those boxes, pick em up and stay tuned to the Postopia site for details."

 http://www.titansgo.net/singleposts.php?id=122

"Remember that Postopia cereal promotion I mentioned back in December? It turns out it's not a Flash webisode, but really an actual full-length episode produced by the Teen Titans series production crew." And in my opinion, features one of the coolest Teen Titans series villains ever. Bow before Punk Rocket.

Really make it a point to pick up one of those Titans-marked Post cereal boxes. They will provide you with a "Postoken" code which you can use to unlock Postopia.com's Teen Titans features, including the "Lost Episode". Of course, that's what we're all here for anyway. Seriously, it's going to be great. You're going to kick yourself if you miss this one. Hype it up! -Butch"

(Butch is one of the titansgo.net site staff, if you're confused.)

EDIT:

There's a clip up of "Titans East, Part 1."

And it looks like the originally intended season 4 opener, "Episode 257-494" will air at 8:00 pm on the 17th as the last episode of a marathon of Static Shock and Teen Titans. Then, of course, "Titans East, Part 2" will air the saturday after, and then season 4 will start soon afterwards.

spacepilot3000, you're right, Teen Titans is written for a much more mature audience.  That's what I like about the show, it actually has decent writing and fairly mature themes, especially for being a kid's television show.  Despite the mature themes it really is made for children... or haven't you seen those little children's costumes.  Wait that could have been RavenStar, I don't remember  :p

Ok, pardon the double post, but here's the translation of what Mas y Menos (the little guys who spoke spanish) said in that clip:

"Esto es ridiculo! Parecemos aficionados! Somos seis contra uno, tenemos que ganar pero ella esta en nuestro camino, y estos dos se estan disparando... y este viejo nos esta jodiendo!"

yeah, apparently that last sentence is correct....them writers is sneaky!

You didn't even bother to translate it?  My C grade Spanish and Babelfish helped:

"This is ridiculous!  We are fans!  We are six against one, we have to advance but she (Bumblebee) is in our way, and these two (Speedy and Aqualad) are shooting themselves... and this old one (Brother Blood?) is screwing us!" (I think that's close enough.)

Wow, I didn't get enough sleep before yesterday...

here's that translation:

"This is ridiculous! We're like amateurs! We're six to one, we should win but she's in our way and these two are shooting each other and this guy is fucking with us!"

seriously. I can't believe they slipped that in. There's been three "I'm gonna kick your-" lines, but them writers is sneaky.

EDIT: there's some debate going on that's it not "joidendo" at the end there. I'm not changing it until the translation is confirmed, but some are saying they might be saying "llorando" or " lloviendo" instead of "jodiendo."

Oh, and by the way, that "Lost Episode" is up, and kicks some major ass.

And it's been confirmed that "Episode 257-494", the premiere for Season 4, will air at 8pm on Monday (17th) as part of a Static Shock/Teen Titans marathon that day. It will re-air at 8 on Saturday the 29th, if you miss the monday showing.

Two reviews for the two episodes I saw in the last two days.

Bunny Raven, or How to Make a Titanimal Disappear

Cyborg: "So, does anyone else have any ideas?"
(Beast Boy raises his hand)
Cyborg: "...that don't involve tanks or magician eating sharks?"

It was good, although I am getting slightly sick of "supervillian makes the Titans's life a living hell by controlling their surroundings" storyline.  Mad Mod's done it twice, Larry the Titan's done it once (although he's not really a villian), and now the Amazing Mumbo's done it.  IMO, the uniqueness of it is almost drained out of the premise. I know these are all crazy characters, but I'd really like some more original stories.

But for what it was, it was worthwhile. Raven was adorable in bunny form (and sutibly sarcastic).  Robin as a monkey and Beast Boy as a telephone were interesting additions to the line-up. I enjoyed how B.B.'s transformations did get increasingly more bizarre in order for him to communicate. (Stock ticker, woo!)

Plotwise, there wasn't much of one.  It was "Titans run around in Crazy World and get their asses handed to them until the final 5 minutes." I dunno, I just expected more from this ep. It's so hard to review, because there isn't a whole lot to review. It could have been a hell of a lot more over-the-top, in order to let it break away from the aformentioned episodes.

Rating: 7.5

Titans East, Part I

So, now we have the first glimpse of the new Titans. I wasn't too hot on Bumblebee in her first appearance, and Aqualad runs the gamut of being useless above land, but I like Speedy's arrogance and Mas y Menos's abstract craziness. I really thought I'd hate them, too.  More Mas y Menos, less Bumblebee.

Brother Blood confuses me. I don't know how different he is in the comics, but on the show, he seems like Slade Lite. The robot army, the glowing eyes, the martial arts...it all strikes me as repetitive. While I like Cyborg as a character, his "season villian" doesn't match up with Robin v. Slade or B.B. v. Terra. As much as I like John DiMaggio, there's no real threat to Brother Blood. During "Deception," I thought he would be very quiet and solemn, to contrast Slade's wit and arrogance.

Let's see, plotwise...I like how the Titans West are 'breaking up' as of this episode. It's a neat move rearranging old teams and making characters fresh. Although I hate Bumbleebee and the Black Character rule, which states that any two black characters on cartoons must either a) be arch-enemies, b) partners, or c) in love. Saying that I hate Bumbleebee, I don't want her more on my screen.

Grade: 7.0

Saturday, Feb. 12: "Cyborg the Barbarian" -- Cyborg is mysteriously thrown into the distant past and lands in the middle of a barbarian village that needs his help. But with the nearest charging station 5,000 years in the future, Cy has no way to recharge, and his power supply is dwindling.

Ok, "Episode 257-494" will NOT be re-airing on Jan. 29th - instead, the new episode "Quest" will be in its place!

EDIT: Even though it's a new ep, it's kinda sad that it's airing on the 29th. Why? Observe the production season:

257-494 "Episode 257-494"
257-495 "Cyborg the Barbarian"
257-496 "Birthmark"
257-497 "The Quest"
257-498 "Employee of the Month"
257-499 "Troq"
257-500 "Prophecy"
257-501 "Stranded"
257-502 "Overdrive"
257-503 "Mother Mae Eye"
257-504, 505, 506 "The End"

"The Quest" shouldn't even air until February...Godamned CN...

"Titans East, part 2" aired a while ago. Here's my review of the season 3 ender:

I'll admit it wasn't as god as the Aftershock saga, but it was still an awesome episode...the whole spirit thing was about was bascially TT's - literal - twist on the classic "no matter how much you try to break me, I will keep fighting until I die or until I win" thing. And yet with that type of semi-clichéd ending, they still managed to make it fresh and extremely powerful. Some of you might disagree, but this is seriously close to the top on my list of favorite episodes. All hail Marv Wolfman and the whole TT crew/cast/guest VA's. ALL HAIL JOHN DIMAGGIO, FOR HE IS A GOD AMONGST INSECTS!

"After last September's release of Teen Titans - Vol 1: Divide And Conquer, all us fans of the adolescent aces have longed for more. And now we finally have word that a 2nd volume is on the way!

A few days ago, Warner Home Video announced the upcoming release of another cartoon series, Ed, Edd n' Eddy. Buried in the announcement information was a casual mention that the DVD for The Eds would be trailered on certain other DVDs releasing around that time.

One of the titles mentioned as carrying that trailer was Teen Titans - Vol 2: Switched.

So now we know the title of the next DVD of Teen Titans, and we know it has to be released sometime near the May 10th release of Ed, Edd n' Eddy in order for the trailering to be effective. That being the case, we expect an offiicial Warner announcement for Vol 2: Switched very soon. Stay tuned and we'll bring it to you once it's available."

So from the looks of it, a most probable april-may release!
