Newest DC cartoon an CN Network. It was kind of fun almost like a cross betweeen Batman and FLCL. Doesn't take it self seriously an had some really good battle sequences. The plot in the opening episode sucked thought. Would like to see how it develops. And those ads are now going to be gone! Finnally!

I saw the Cartoon Network edited and dubbed version of Rouni Kenshin. It was fun to watch when they were doing the lighter stuff but this was the first time I saw the Kyoto arc... painful just painful...

6 episode anime OAV done by the guys who did Evangelion. It is hard hard to describe... very stylistic, great music, great action, and an interesting story.
Here is a cast shot.

Actually, in terms of the inspiration for the shows creation, a recent TV Guide article mentioned that the Teen Titan characters are actually based off The Breakfast Club.

In the beginning the Universe was created.  This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I will bet FLCL won't be on Adult Swim long, seeing it's only 6 episodes long. Ruroni Kenshin was good on CN, but they should try getting the Samurai X OVA (one can only hope!).

I no spell good...

Damnit...

Chris, Teen Titans is on Cartoon Network new show based on an old DC comic series. I don't think FLCL is coming on anytime soon. And The Kenshin OAV will have a chance if somehow Hell was frozen over by the beating wings of pigs.

Been lurking on other forums, People are complaining about strange things like complaing that StarFire doesn't look like Pamala Anderson with massive 80's hair.

It doesn't make sense, but titian (pronounced "tishn" ) is a color, which is brownish orange. So Titian Teens would make sense. (Sorry, I'm a little off-topic, but I thought people might care!)

I really liked it. I can see why they changed Starfires clothes though, they werent really kid friendly if you know what i mean. Starfire is still my favorite though. I think in the comics Beast Boy is called Changeling.

TT ep1 sucked, simple as that. Ep2 (I posted this as soon as it was over) had an interesting plot, but bothered me, in the show we don't know how they met, how they got thier powers or anything like that. (Im not from the 80s)

I enjoyed the second episode, mainly because it was alot about Starfire. I want to know if Blackfire was in the comics though cause i havent seen her. Was she made for the show?

Nope, Blackfire's straight out of the comics. Of course, back then, she was a complete psycho-bitch who killed hundreds and sold her own sister into slavery...

Well the show has been on a while and I have to say it is getting much better. There have been some surprisingly well done episodes plus they have had the theme song sung in Japanese a couple of times.

Last weeks had Aqua Lad (voiced by Wil Wheaton aka Wesley Crusher) and Writon by Marv Wolfman the guy who origonally did the comic. It was fun although not as good as the weeks before.

I've never read the comics, but I really like the show so far.  I'd have to say Raven is my favorite, though Beast Boy and Starfire are great too.  I've been singing the theme song for the past few weeks...  hmpf

I dont think I have ever watched a show where I hate all of the characters before.   hmpf

They all seem to represent a certain steriotype, not just a steriotype,  but internet subculture steriotypes as well!(Ex. Beast boy=furry ect.) I swear, its sad watching the characters on screen and thinking "I know people who act just like that...and Id like to hit them in the face with a brick."

BUT I will give the show its props, the animations its top notch and they do a good job of expressing the full emotion of every character.

I wrote an article about it a week or so ago, webmaster just needs to get it up!   mad

[Scruffy] Second. [/Scruffy]

It's a very pathetic rip-off of anime by a bunch of jackasses at Cartoon Network hoping to make a few bucks off a comic book. Or so I am to believe.

Season ending episode part one, well done. Liked it better then the Justice League episode.

Coop, Asylum-Fry, Anime is a style not a genre. The guy who worked on this was the person in charge of Superman the Animated series. The show is not for everyone and this season has been inconsistant (40% good, 30 % ok, 30% bad) but it still is entertaining and I will continue watching it.

I completely agree. I am very excited to see what happens next. I saw the Titans turning all orange and weird and now I cant wait for friday. Dose anyone see an attraction between Starfie and Robin? They were an item in the comics if I can remember right. But I can kinda see something starting between them.

The show is almost uncomfortable to watch--the plot I saw was ok--but why try and be anime? Americans just can't make their own art anymore? The sweatdrops and the anime expressions don't even seem to fit the characters or the dialogue. And I'm not an anime hater, I looooooove FLCL. Furi Kuri is the bomb diggety. I just think Teen Titans would be better if it didn't take the whole "omg anime is COOL" thing and run with it.
