Does anybody else like Bill Bailey. To clarify for those who don't know who he is and might have seen any of the following programs he is in:
Spaced: The owner of Fantasy Bazaar
Black Books: Manny
Never Mind The Buzzcocks: One of the team captains I think.

I just bought a Bill Bailey DVD over the weekend and it was great.
QUOTE: Bill Bailey would like the eggs of numbing inevitability.

yeah i know bill baily hilarious guy when he was  in black books in the first season and he had to do the good cop bad cop  routine i was rolling on the floor lauphing and spaced was a brilliant series i never saw him in it thought, never heard of the last one. The first time i saw bill was on one of those comedy specials and he came out and did a bit with a guitar where told a 1970s cop show story doing the sound effects with the bass it is still one of the funniest routines i have heard

He's a Klingon nonce.

But a great Klingon nonce.

And I AM Manny.

I work at a second-hand bookshop, and my boss and I frequently run through Black Books routines.

One of the best shows ever, as it's all true.

He's a mad genius.
Wonder who would win in a fight, him or Billy Connolly...

I've been saying:
'Bill Bailey would like the eggs of numbing inevitability'
to anyone who'll listen ever since I got it. Love that song. What show do you mean? Do you have a title for it?
EDIT: and I think its spelt Vole.

EDIT of an EDIT: was it called: 'Is it Bill Bailey'? and how come nobody noticed him in Spaced? He was the guy who owned the comic book store that Tim worked in. Ring any bells yet?

He's great on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and I've never seen Black Books but I'd like to catch an episode sometime.

I heard one his songs playing in a shop recently and I couldn't stop laughing. It was something about insects taking over the world, a good rip at prog rock. Great stuff!

One of his jokes which rang true for me and I still remember is "The theme to Mastermind - is it just me or was that designed purely to put the fear of God into you?"

Genius. And yes I noticed him in Spaced.

Youd be lucky to catch an ep of blackbooks. Like all great british comedy's, there were only a few episodes. Around four or six.

Bill Bailey is excellent.. his show on BBC2 was called Is It Bill Bailey? and was directed by Edgar Wright, who later went on to direct Spaced.

He had a skit in his show about a blues keyboardist trying to play Toccata and Fuge in his solo to look sophisticated, but ended up morphing into the theme from Ski Sunday.

They should really release it on DVD. Theres a website at  http://www.billbailey.co.uk , but theres nothing much more than a set of tour dates there at the minute.

did you know that Bill Bailey released a lot of his songs on a CD. I found out last night and I've already ordered it from HMV (if they don't have that in america, it's a music store).
