I renember once that the father (as to carry on the joke i asume) went to "kick" the bad guy ass after throwing his kid into the water.. it was hilarious

I watched an international episode of Takeshi's Castle yesterday and I don't know why, but watching Americans, Canadians, Brits, Swedes, Norwegians, Swiss etc etc hurt themselves was completely unsatisfying compared to the normal show.

Agree, SoS.  I prefer seeing uncoordinated Japanese running into walls, falling into water and generally acting hilariously...
