A thread to reminisce about when celebrities turned to crime and other bad stuff. I remember hearing about Eminem going to prison after (or maybe it was before) P. Diddy got in trouble for pulling a gun out and firing randomly in a bar. Wasn't a very good time for rappers. Does anyone remember Michael Jackson's commercial pleading with people to believe he hadn't molested that boy?

- Michael Barrymore and the swimming pool incident.
- George Michael and that 'public loo in LA' thingy.

Yes I remember Michael Jackson's commercial, he made it because he really was inocent! Would a guilty man continue to involve himself with childrens charities, and have his own kids! It's clear that Michael genuinely cares for children and the world in general. He himself is just a big kid.

Oh and more on topic, recently the guy who used to be Adam Ant (I don't know his real name) has apparently had a nervous breakdown, resulting in him causing some kind of domestic disturbance.
Although I think he probably deserves simpathy rather than ridicule.

Winona Rider shoplifting, don't forget that.

Oh and doesn't this belong in the offtopic section?

Strange, nobody mentioned Hugh Grant so far. But then again, the bj he got that night in LA made him probably more famous than any of his movies...

I actually liked Spears for a day or two, then hated her ever since.  She's a bitch.

I think Jackson isn't a bad person, I actually think he is a big kid.

50 Cent anybody?  What a money-o-holic for ya.

I heard from someone that sometimes she goes to this restaurant/lounge over at Baton Rouge (I forgot the name of the restaurant) and he told me that Britney is not very sociable with others. She's a chain smoker and keeps very much to herself, sitting in a table by herself, looking alienated.

Michel Jackson was a complete and utter sodomising asshole, the lot of you who actually think he's an alright guy must be nuts, you just have to look at the freakshow to see he ain't all there and what's left ain't pretty.

Who here remembers the New Kids on the Block?  And their hotel-fire-starting hijinks?

It looks like Donnie Wahlberg was the main culprit. During his New Kids days, Wahlberg was also known for his wild ways. In 1991, he was arrested on first-degree arson charges in Louisville, Ky., for setting a fire in his hotel room during a tour.

Bill Gates - Countless felonies

Axl Rose - For having that voice coupled with that attitude.

Ozzy Osbourne - For renewing the fucking "show" for another year.  (possible capital offence)

Marilyn Manson - For being...well...Marilyn Manson

Britz, how did you form that opinion of Michael Jackson? By reading the rubbish in the papers? Do you actually know him!? NO.

All the lies and negative comments come from people who don't know Michael. Have you ever noticed that his actual family and friends (the only people who are really entitiled to judge him) have nothing put praise for him. If you like his music or not doesn't really matter, either way you look at it he's raised millions and millions of dollars for charity, saved the lives of countless children, inspred a generation of performers, and put up with years of bullshit from the press. He's a living legend, a genius, a true superstar, and an icon of the 20th Century!

Oh and I hear that his Thriller album sold pretty well too.

He did actually some illegal hacking in his earlier days, but that picture is merely from a traffic violation he committed.

Yeah, but's not exactly "normal", is he?

Also, one of Wacko Jacko's friends speaks and "Charities condemn Jackson".

And I really don't see what record sales have to do with any of this.

I have to buy straight away when I saw this front cover today:

who wouldn't of thought that Gareth Gates, the hottest and cute teen idol would have a big secret! He slept with Jordan. one of the biggest busted supermodel.

There were rumurs that they have a crush on each other. but we didn't know till now that they slept with each other when she was 5 months pregnant.

Well at least Gareth got a decent girlfriend now.

I don't now why people read those magazines. I'm not saying I don't believe it but, we really care too much about our celebrities. When I like an actor/actress it's not because of what goes on in their personal life but how intelligent or good of an actor they are. So basically anyone supported by MTV or a teen magazine is out.

I don't know if I would call him a hacker. It was from when he attented Lakeside High School in Seattle. There the students had access to a computer, which in those days where merely a terminal connected to a mainframe. Access to the mainframe cost $30 an hour, so Billy & co had a very limit time with computer. So what to do other that use the terminal to hack into the mainframe and change the number of hours on their bill?

They were of course discovered, but rather than punishing them, the company that owned the mainframe hired them to check their system for bugs in exchange for free computer time.

I'm not really against magizines, but most of the time they're so cheesy, the reporters are such jerks and most stories are just stoopid.  Sure, sometimes I care about what my fav celebs are up to, but do I really care about who they slept with? No.  I care about where they're in concert, what they think of their music, what movies they're in, etc.  Not personal lives.

God, I hope that's not like a Tiger Beat or something. It probably isn't since teenybopper mags tend to have cheesier-looking covers. Still, I don't read mags like People cuz like Hil said, who cares what they do in their lives? They're still celebrities and I can't relate to them.
