It's just funny because they take the show so seriously. Like in the intro when the host bites that capsicum and then looks at the camera heroically. I mean, c'mon - it's just a cooking show!  :p

Did I ever mention that rugby sucks?

Bad news people...
A friend pointed out to me today, that after the 6 or 7 weeks of rugby, we'll be in the dreaded ratings-free period, which means nothing but crappy kids shows for about 2 months, Thus, no Futurama for at least that long...

Did I ever mention that rugby sucks?

As for kill bill, i'll probably see it when it comes to Ararat... (give it 3 or 4 years)

Yeah, I'm hopeful. 7 obviously don't think much of Futurama- probably for all they know it is a 'crappy kids show'.

They know jack shit about the show, that's for sure. I mean, on the show before it - if you listen to the credits, the announcer usually says "But next, get ready to enter the Futurama!"

The Futurama? THE Futurama?! Fucking hell...

ABC
10pm
True Stories
PG
Follows the preparations of two soccer teams, Bhutan and Montserrat, for an international friendly match, which takes place against all the odds, with no sponsors, to decide who really is the bottom team in the world.

I really can't wait. I was aware when this match was on, and I was more interested in the outcome of this game than that of the Brazil vs. Germany game the same day. It looks good, and has a good write up in the paper.

I did exactly that. I was surprised i wasn't caught because they threw three other underage people out and then came back another three times and they didn't even notice me.

Good work Shiney, I'm going soon with my 197cm and 190cm friends soon (who are actually both younger than me).

Anyway, I watched 'The Other Final' documentary on ABC at 10:00pm last night. It truly was amazing, lucky I taped it.

Yep, very funny show - despite it's stupidity and tastelessness. In last night's one, Molly Meldrum came on and kept making disgusting-but-funny gay jokes about himself. Corrine spent most of the episode cringing at them, and Wil Anderson was at the wittiest I've seen him in ages.
