Yeah, i see what you mean... Still, there are definatly worst ones...

I'm actually pretty tolerant of the new Simpsons eps, the old ones obviously beat the piss out of them, but i still watch the new ones, and find them to be an occasional laugh. I'm just not as much of a fanatic of the new ones.

Jurassic Bark was awesome....!! Have to go review it but damn I love the back story eps, it's what made the series great (one of the things)

Anyone notice that the scientist's name from last night's episode (Ben Beeler) was really Ken Keeler's name, but with B's instead of K's? Wheeeee, I noticed something!

Anyway, they're showing The Route Of All Evil next Tuesday. A pretty average episode in my opinion, but the sub-plot kicks ass! Here's the episode description. I've put a spoiler on it, because the description strangely enough gives away the ending too...

I personally think that the sub-plot to next week's episode is much better than the focus plot. Brewing beer in Bender was just great!

And, Grim - savour the moment, because this is the last time you get to say "I have next week's episode on DVD."

I sent a complaint letter to the TV Guide of The Sunday Times (a Perth newspaper) a few weeks back. I was so angry when they played that sound commercial over the dialogue in 30% Iron Chef, I wrote a letter there and then, also complaining about it's crappy new timeslot and the fact that they kept skipping episodes in Perth. It never got published though, but still - I only sent it 3 weeks ago.

Oh well, at least they're going on with Season 5, even if they made so many annoying mistakes with the show during Seasons 3 and 4. Still not happy about the timeslot though, but I'd rather have it on late than not at all.

Yeah, of course, but I really think that given a chance Futurama could build up a following here (a bigger one I mean) if only they gave it a chance. If they air it  at 11:30 pm though, pretty much no-one but 'hardcore' fans and insomniacs are going to watch it.

I think they read you letter out on "Media Watch" on the ABC, or the same complaint anyway.

Well, I sent it into a Perth newspaper, not an ABC show. Also, my letter went on about many more things Channel 7 have done to Futurama, I'm just saying that the dubbing really annoyed me to the extent where I felt obliged to complain. Still, it's good to see I'm not the only one pissed off about that.

It scared me too! It sounds stupid, but I just wasn't expecting it. You don't expect to hear one of those voice-over commercials you usually hear during the credits in the middle of a character's dialogue. Not to mention the fact that I was watching it at midnight so I was pretty tired. It was a pain in the ass. I mean, c'mon - is it really that hard to play it during the credits instead of the show?! Channel 7 have no right to slack off just because THEY don't give a crap about the show.

Damn right that pissed me off, even though Bender's line wasn't relevant to the plot seeing as it was the end of the ep,(what was it anyway....?) it's not the point....I guarantee if it was Home and Away they wouldn't do it....arseholes at least they didn't do it after that incident....

I don't mind the episode, for obvious reasons. I'm usually up at that time anyway, it'll be worth it for the 3d FX, which incidentally there is a fair bit of in this episode.

A mid ranged episode IMO.

I think it's a pretty good episode, not one of the best but not bad either, and good for season 5.

Last night's Simpsons episode had such an awful storyline - it just seemed tacked on. God, I hate new Simpsons episodes, they just ruin the series.
