It was also taken away somewhere else, either America or Europe I can't remember. There is a thread somewhere called something like 'Wierd Thing on my season 1 dvd', or maybe that was something different.

Wednesday night on TV means the Simpsons hour which I'm currently missing...

its in the PE stockroom started by me, my DVDs I imported from britain are missing those titles too.

We wont get Futurama back on thursdays as SG-1 and Alias have taken the timeslot

Check this out - I also went on Can't Get Enough Futurama. Apparentally, the subtitle for I, Roomate was "As seen on TV." But, it also says this at the bottom of the page:

"... Opening theme promotion AS SEEN ON TV is removed from DVD release. Wierd censorship."

Proving that it's not just our DVD's, but everyones!

Has Futurama missed out on all of the recently vacated timeslots? I've been waiting for Futurama to reappear in the Channel 7 schedule and as far as I know it hasn't yet.

SG-1 Totalyl sucked. There has been a shocking decline in the quality.

And they just make it up as they go along.
Theres always some unk,own little fact that is key to the show. In this case the invisible assasin.

IT better get real good real fast.

Everyone did. IT was a cult classic. Now its jumped the shark. And i just realised there was an ep of southpark that made references the shark.

There was this thing where Fonzie jumped over sharks, and then it was a to be continued thing. Then at the start of the next ep, he fell into the pool and got eaten.

It was funny.

Actually, it was the episode where Cartman and the gang start their on religion, when they discover the church is corrupt (earlier in the episode, they become paranoid of going to hell and all turn heavily catholic). Part one is called "Do handicapped people go to hell?" and part two is called "Probably." It's fairly old - it's from Season 4 (2000).

Also, Fonzie was never actually going to jump the shark in part one - they just added in that conclusion at the start of part two because they thought it would be funny to see him get mauled by sharks. Which it was.

BLOODY PROVIDENCE how the hell is that still on and being made and futurama has been cancelled and channel 7 wont even show it the FUCKING bastards. I cant bear to watch SG1 anymore it is just getting tooo hard

I can't comment on SG1, considering I've never been a fan (comedy's practically the only thing I ever watch), but as for Futurama not returning - it sucks. Channel 7 wouldn't know a good show if it threw a rock through their window, which is what I plan to do if I'm ever near their building... 

I think Futurama's main reason of being cancelled here is the fact that it was cancelled in the US (keep in mind that when they ordered seasons 3 and 4, it wasn't cancelled in the US). Still, even so - I still don't see why they can't just show it here. It's an excellent show, and it's not like the ratings in their 10:30pm timeslot ever mattered to them. Here's hoping the bastards at Channel 7 will eventually show the remaining episodes, as unlikely as it may be.

Anyway, uhhh... what were we talking about? I think Australian Guy brought up a SBS documentary on hacking earlier on. I saw some documentary about hacking on SBS last year. Not sure if it was the same one, but still - it was very interesting.

Well, in last weeks TV Guide - next to Angel, it said "(Final)." So I'm not sure if that means it's the season final, or the final episode altogether - but either way, it's not coming back for a year. Most of us here thought that this would pave the way for Futurama's return, but as it turned out - we were wrong.

Why the heck is there a thread for Australian TV and movies? Really, does anyone in Australia, let alone any other country, actually give a shit what gardening program or movie about Aboriginals struggling in a land which was stolen from them is showing this week? This thread sucks so much that I have chosen to read it and post in it. Also, Australian Idol is the stupidest thing ever. Why the shit is this crap on at 9:05 on a Sunday? In fact, this whole country and their terrible unfunny sketch comedy TV shows can go to hell.

Pizza and Crank Yankers now take up Monday nights on SBS. South Park repeats of Season 5 can be seen at 9:00pm on Saturdays though.

Pizza isnt worth it now, It has jumped the shark, It jumped even before the movie. Davo's a wanker, There is way too much Habib and Rocky, and it needs sleek. It went too far when Bobo pulled the Chainsaw more than 5 times per series.
Plus its just too silly now. Now they even have to resort to nudity, on the plus tho, They were boobies in this ep
