To hard, so i'll let you decide.
My favourite would probably be one of the x-men movies or the Hulk
The only one of these i have'nt seen is Daredevil.

Where's "Spawn"?

EDIT: And technically, "The Matrix" and its sequels were gonna originally be made into a comic book until the Wachowskis decided to make them into movies.

I'll go with Spiderman, the movie rules, just like the ride does too. I can't wait for the second movie too. Blade was also a really clool movie

Richie Rich  :)

I go for Batman, and that's only because the Tim Burton original is the best ever comic book transfer. Ever. The sequels were rubbish though...

Tim Burtons Batman
Spiderman
X Men
I know this is kind of obscure, but Sam (American Beauty) Mendes' truely excellent film The Road to Perdition, is strangly enough based on a comic book!
And when I see it in a few weeks, i'll probably include The Hulk on this list, it looks excellent.

Spiderman comes the closest to bringing the magic of the comic to the big screen while still being entertaining.

Superman II comes next, mostly because of Terrence Stamp chewing up the scenery left and right.

Nah nah nah nah Batman!
I think there was no need to include Sequels in this poll, because the films never used a particular story from one of the comic books.

No love for Superman, huh? It must be that pimp he meets when he's going to save Lois from that helicopter. "Say, Jim! Wooo! That's a bad...out...fit!"

If you would have used those periods in the last part of the post in your post, then maybe it would have made sense, and I could have made a comeback  :p Asshat.

The oscars are highly overrated they nominate films according to their popularity for example Spiderman nominated for best special effects over Minority Report, Blade 2 and Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets. Which are all highly superior in the special effects department.

ShineFusion: I hear that. But maybe special effects houses can only submit one film? Industrial Light & Magic did both Minority Report and Harry Potter, but Attack of the Clones got the sfx nomination.

I'm just throwing out suggestions...I really know nothing about the nomination process.

Definantly X-men 1 and 2, since I never read the comics I can't say I was a stickler for the details and stuff left out, as long as Rogue remained hot and southern I was happy, but the movies were refreshingly sweet.

Also Mystery Men is a notable exception, that movie was great, they always reminded me of something cooked up by 'What The..?!' comics.

Although Spiderman was nominated, i'm sure it didn't win, the Oscar went to The Two Towers, good choice, though I think Episode 2 SHOULD have won.
