Two tragedies happen on the same day:

The anniversary of the worst terrorist attack ever on US soil.
And the release of the Garfield movie in Australia.

I've always liked Garfield.  I, myself grew up watching the specials and getting the comics which I still have to this day.  Where I live, my local UPN affiliate shows reruns of Garfield and Friends at 7 am, and sometimes I watch it!  Odie was always my favorite character.

I'm assuming you mean 9/11. I think that statment is faulty. Unless you talking in future-tense and Garfield will be released in australia on that date.

Yes, but they're advertising for it now! Which is a horror beyond the fifth circle. Garfield: the Movie reduces battle hardened SAS beefy boys to gibbering, cowering lumps of corn mush.

Garfield sucks. It's always the same damn think. "Now Garfield, I'm going to leave the room. While I'm not here, you better not eat this lasagna I just made." So he leaves the room and when he comes back, he's shocked to find that his lasagna is missing! Whoa-ho, I didn't see that coming! (Now that's sarcasm!)

No he doesn't, but he does also crush spiders with newspapers. And kick Odus (That's the name of the dog, right? Odus?) off the table, as I recall.

He eats most anything...you can't really get fat off of lasagna alone.

I like Garfield, but my hubby doesn't. It's released on the 11th August in France. Nope did not go see it.  Anyway all movies are broadcast on my digital channel Canal Plus one year after it's been released.  ;)
