Does anyone have Challenge TV? What is your favourite show?
I like Crystal maze and takeshi's castle

I shouldn't laugh really...but Takeshi's Castle is frugging hilarious!  :laff:

Crystal Maze is an old favourite of mine - as is Knightmare!  :D Great program, though they are showing the slightly newer, slightly camper version - or so my sis thinks anyway...

Gotta continue the love for Takeshi's Castle & Knightmare. Craig Charles was such an odd choice for narrator on TC, but he works so well! And the kids on Knightmare seem a lot younger than I remember them being.

Those damn floating skulls used to scare the living piss outta me.

Yeah, even though now you can see the flicker of the slightly primitive CGI on it, the flicker itself can become an effective part.

Craig's great on TC - even if you perhaps watch a dozen or so (hypothetically), you begin to see that he comments on them all almost exactly the same way over a long period - but still, funny to listen to, and adds to the entertainment  :p

There are only so many ways a Japanese man can injure himself running across stepping stones.

Thankfully, there are so many ways a Japanese man can injure himself running across stepping stones.

Is it still going or are they doing what they do in australia. In australia they show the show from the 80's and have australian commentry. I love when the have to jump over the river and some of the stepping stones arent attached.

I watch Takshi's Castle quite regularly, me and my sister often end up crying with laughter. The Crystal maze is an old gem, but I think they are recycling the episodes a bit too frequently now, how many episodes did they make?
Another show that I watch on challenge (although it's rarely shown) is The Interceptor. Me and a friend watched it for the first time a few months ago. It's a badly dated survivour/gameshow from the 80s that is so bad, it's good. You've got this bloke in a big leather cape with a "high tech" lazer gun strapped to his wrist hunting down contestants across the Englash countryside in his helicopter.
When he gets close he 'intimidates' them by running at them screaming like a banshee. Honestly I end up rolling round on the floor crying with laughter when it's on. The problem is, it's meant to be serious.

I don't have Challenge TV, but I love "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge"--it's "Takeshi's Castle" dubbed into Ebglish to comedic effect. (Kinda like What's Up, Tiger Lily the game show.)

How many injuries do people get while filming "Takeshi's Castle"? Although people will do almost anything to get on TV.......
