Digimon. Well,I USED to like it in its 1st and 2nd season. THen they duped the characters who were cool so I stopped watching it and found Dragonball.
Anyway my favorite mangas (a lil offtopic)are
One Piece
Naruto
Shaman King
Yu Yu Hakusho
Sandland
(anyone see a pattern?)   :laff:

The show itself almost beggers description.  Probably best to go into it with an open mind and let it tell its own twisted tale.

A creation of Gainax, this project followed on from their earlier hits His And Her Circumstances and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Some have remarked how elements from both of these shows creep into FLCL.  With music being such an important factor, it is also, in some ways, an anime homage to western films like Heavy Metal, Rock & Rule and The Wall.  Its deliberately experimental in a way that might turn off some people, but does show how some things can only be done with and through animation, and is probably one of the reasons why it has grabbed the attention of so many animation fans.

Anyone heard of Cyborg 009? Me either. Anyway it starts on Toonami on Monday. IVe never heard of it but seen the ads and i think its made by the same person that made Kikaider.

Movies:
-Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
-Princess Mononoke
-Metropolis
-Rôjin Z
-Akira (Have to include this, even though I've only seen like 10 minutes of it, but those 10 minutes ruled)

TV Series:
Well, the only one I've seen is
FL-CL, a.k.a. Furi-Kuri, by the same people who made Evangelion (or however you spell it)...god that's one fucked up series...somehow I understood it at the end...how? I don't know.

Try Hellsing or Bebop.

I've downloaded a Episode of Ranma on Kazaa on 56k and I now know the meaning of the word 'patience' and the term 'violence towards objects'

I haven't seen more than 2 episodes of Bebop, so I don't really know about it.  I haven't heard about Hellsing though.  What is it about?

The main reason I like Trigun is because it has amazing character development.  Especially with Vash.

Hellsing, gritty Vampire Action-Suspense Genre in London.

Hellsing is a very cool anime, on the english dub some of the English accents get annoying (stupid Americans we don't all sound like that)
When I first saw Alucard's character desigmn I was reminded of Vash (He ware a long red coat, Orange sun glasses and has a huge gun) but the personalities could not be more displaced.
It is really cool the style of animation they choose is really cool. So watch it.

I'm not sure if I've said before, but ...
in my opinion the best anime TV series ever was ...
QUEEN MILLENIA!
Lar'Metal! Yoiyiku! etc ... Queen Milenia!
Queen Millenia  :)
Back in the late 80s/early 90s I saw every episode on TV.
In my opinion the best Science Fiction TV series beside of Futurama and Captain Future.
The theme song is soooo amazing.
Oh, how I wish to see that series again  :)

I haven't watched much anime, but one that has stuck with me for a long time is SDF Macross, it's my all time favorite.  I saw Spirited Away a month ago and I loved it.  I'm going to pick it up on DVD soon so I can watch the subtitled version.  A friend brought over Cowboy Bebop this weekend and we watched the first five episodes.  Sadly, I now understand some of Nurdbot's test thread titles.  I feel so dirty.

I recommend Evangelion or Furi Kuri, but, then again, I'm a big Ganiax supporter.

By the way, what else has that group done that can be found relatively easy?

Lain's a good one, if you like having your brain raped in a fun sort of way.

Nadesico is amusing but really betray's it's humor genre alot.

I have a few Trigun questions:

EDIT:  I'm sorry Nurdbot, I always forget to use spoilers.  I wrongly assumed that everyone has seen all of that show.  All I can offer you is the peace in knowing that the info in my questions really have no affect on the course of the Trigun anime story at all.

Actually, Lain was created by Yoshitoshi ABe and Triangle Staff (for Pioneer).  I loved Lain was well.  ABe's follow up project from Lain was Neia Under 7, which was pretty good, and soon will see the official North American release of Haibane Renmei, which I've very much looking forward to.

Atticus, the Manga is not finished yet, from what I have read it is very different from the anime. The basic plot is there the characters are slightly different.

Some people like the Manga better I like the anime. For some reason I am enjoying it too much on Cartoon Network, heard the dub once and hated it but I think I really like the dub now. (Unlike the Kenshin dub dear God... nothing worse then seeing the ShiShio Saga dubbed and edited on Toonami)

From what I understand Trigun Maximum starts...

[spoilers]It starts after Vash uses the gun and dissapears. The manga starts to diverge once Maximum starts [/spoilers]

So, who's getting the third release of FLCL? They say it's hard to find in retail stores. Best Buy is sold out, and so are many online stores. Most people are looking to get the artbox, which is why it's hard to find.
