Blade 2: The Series........

I heard about Fox considering a Blade series....... i don`t think it will star Wesley Snipes, but I think it`s going to kick ass if Fox goes through with it.....

What does everyone else think??

Please don`t respond unless you have seen Blade and Blade 2

And in september they will start to produce Blade 3. YAHOOOO!!!!!!!!!
The writer`s on the movie guess it will be on cinemas in august 2004.

It'll basically be a clone of Angel, wouldn't it?
It can't be as violent or gory as the films though, not on TV.

Wesley Snipes would probably not do a TV series, his career's not that bad.

well I think wesley might start off the series, mabye he could be frozen or something

mabye it would be a spinoff of Blade with alot of new characters?

it wouldn`t be alot like Angel because Blade the series would have alot more Blood and gore, hell, it`s Fox

Mabye somehow bring back Nomak?

Let's think this through:

Highlander: Immortal who wanders around cutting off people's heads, spawned several movies and 2 TV series.  Everything after the first movie was blah.
Blade: Opportunity to do the same.

not quite, the movie Blade 3 is supposedly coming out august 2004, and i think most other people would agree that Blade and Highlander are both very different

and still, Highlander was a Very good movie, and a very good idea, and Angel aswell had a good idea, but i don`t think it was bloody enough, although i have only seen, mabye, 3 episodes of Angel, and only about an hour of Highlander

But i also think that Blade would be atleast more successful

I'm not talking about plot!  I'm talking about basic concept.  Blade right now is poised to do EXACTLY what Highlander did: spawn multiple sequals and at least one TV series.

And bringing up Blade 3 only strengthens my point.  And if it turns out that vampires are in fact exiled rebels from another planet, well . . .

Well, considering the fact that movie to tv transitions are usually exponentially worse than their predecessors, I can only assume that the Blade series will be somewhere near the bottom of worst television shows of all time.

Considering something so tame as Futurama get's an 8pm (?) slot (when it get's aired), something like an 18's/R-rated film will unlikely be shown on FOX.

It started on Bravo over here in the UK and I think it is ok. Another vampire TV series that is good because I miss Buffy and Angel
