They're characters on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

*gasp* I can't decide. They're both so lovable! But, I guess I'll go with Crow, simply because I like his body chassis more.

I've never heard of this show, is it American and what is it about etc.

Yes, it's american. The simplest explanation is, it's a guy and some robots making fun of bad movies.

I like Tom better, but in a fight to the death, there's no way he'd win against Crow. Tom Servo doesn't even have working arms. What's he gonna do, kill him with gumballs?

If you don't know what they look like, here's a cast picture:
Crow (Left), Mike (Middle), Servo (Right)

Crow and Servo appear in "Raging Bender;" Crow tells Fry to be quiet during the movie.  Maybe now the joke makes sense to you.

I gotta go with Crow. They used to make that show just a stone's throw from where I live. Ah, the memories.

I'm a huge Mystery Science fan...I gotta go with Tom Servo, only because I think he's funnier.

here is another good question: Whos funnier,  Joel or Mike?

Yeah, but you're forgetting one other thing: Crow doesn't have working arms either. That's why I voted for Tom.

I voted for Tom, he can be a good smartass, plus he's a gumball machine, you'll never starve with a gumball machine...  Do either of them have working arms?  I mean they're not even very functional robots.  I mean why make a robot gumball machine and birdcage thingy???  I dunno they're both good.

Crow's arms work sometimes. I've seen him eating sandwiches and stuff. Also, the net on the back of his head can easily come off--all he has to do it jerk his head forward in Tom's direction, and it'll knock him out.

But you're forgetting, Fishy, that there are multiple Tom Servos. If one Tom Servo can survive having his head fall off midway through a show, just imagine what an entire army could do.

That's an impossibly tough question, but Tom Servo get's the nod.  For a gumball machine, he's got balls.

Crow could cause more damage because his arms work.  But I suppose, technically, Tom could hover out of harm's way.  Actually, I kinda think Gypsy could take them both out - she talkes care of everyone, and knows their weaknesses!

And Gorgak, while a Mike vs. Joel discussion is the MST3K equivelent of a civil war (Brother vs brother, etc.), I have to say I think Joel has overall better riffs, but Mike has better interplay with the bots and better host segments.

And I love Love LOVE the bots' appearance in Raging Bender!

My favorite Crow quote:

Joel: What do you want for Christmas, Crow?
Crow: I want to decide who lives and who dies.

Tom Servo is cool. I like Tom Servo.
No, really, I do. He's the best. I mean, Crow makes up some good riffs now and then, but heck, Servo's better in the host segments
(IE...
From 'Skydivers'
Crow: DAMN YOU SERVO!
[after his car is destroyed])
I mean, he's [Crow's]a HOCKEY MASK, PING PONG BALLS AND A SOAP DISH.
Nurdbot, you should have put a BOTH choice on there [the poll].

During the comedy central days Crow (AKA Art). During the Sci-fi days Tommy Gun Servo.
