I might be the only one on this, but I think the creepy old man that wants chris to come down to his basement is the best charachter.

Interesting enough, he shows up in another episode with the nudist family at the mall.

I've since changed my fave best FG character to Adam West... Brian comes very close.

Brian is easily the best because of his offbeat comments in his speech and upbringing and interests
also that hes an alchoholic aristocrat

Adam West is awesome.  I love the episode where he rolls around in the toxic waste trying to get super powers.

He was disturbingly creeply, but that was a hilarious episode, particularly the Civil War re-enactment.  A lot of bit parts in the show were hilarious, I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that they'd show up, say a few lines, and never be seen again...which brings me to the chicken-fight...

Well, Lois is very sexy, especially in her dominatrix outfit.  You've gotta hand it to Seth MacFarlane, he gives the fans what they want. But as far as favorite character goes, I'd have to say Brian.  Amid all the crazy shit that goes on, he's the most down to earth voice of reason.  I love his dry wit.  Despite being a dog, he's the most "human" character on the show.  Which, by the way, makes it even funnier when he has a "dog moment," like licking Peter's face, or whizzing on the carpet.

Brian is a very witty character, and the show wouldn't be as good without him - but the stand-out character would have to be Peter. He's just so funny! I love the episode where he has to delivery Lois's sister's baby...

LOIS: Peter, how's she doing?
PETER: It looks like she's blowing a bubble...
LOIS: Peter, that's the head!
PETER: Oh...
LOIS: (to her sister) Push, push!
PETER: I'm trying, but it won't go back in!

Look, Stewie may be good, but come on! All he ever does is try to kill his Mom! Thats all! There are maybe 12 episodes where he matters! And maybe 5 where he tries to do sometihng other then kill Lois. My fave is Peter,he just does stupid things!

Lois:I cant beleive you got that box instead of a boat!
Peter:Hey I've done stupider things, remember that time we won that boat?

(Shows 5 min. ago)

Peter:The box could be anything even a boat!
Lois:Then lets take the bo-

Peter is the greatest.
The best part was when he drove his car off a cliff into the water and then took out a gun and shot the car until it blew up, just because he lost to Brian at checkers.

I don't know i don't like how stewie draws a lot of attention away from the other charecters so i think he is really funny but i liked him later in the series when they toned him down a little bit.

 My favorite i voted for was Quagmire i can't get over that one line.

Quagmire- "hello 911? It's me Quagmire.  Its in a window this time."

Seeing as how we have the same name, I pick Joe. The fight with the grinch was so funny. "You think you have won, you think you have done well, kiss my ass I'll see you in hell"

(Meg is setting up rat traps around Joe whos wheelchair is melted to the driveway)

I always thought I'd like Stewie the best but I've grown to love Chris.

"I'm so hungry, I could ride a horse... I don't get it - maybe I could ride it to the grocery store."

Peter: Face it, Chris isn't the sharpest pencil in the box (Hits Chris up side the head)

Peter: (Points to lamp) He did it!
