She's a teenager. In X-Men 1, in the scene where Wolverine first meets Prof. X in his office she's the girl who walks through the door (the proffessor calls her 'Kitty' in this scene). She is also in one of the deleted scenes, talking to Jubilee in Rogue's class.

I think it is Shadow Cat, she is listed as Kitty Pryde in the credits. (even though it is a different actress)
She is 18, but in movies that doesn't matter that much.

I hate evolution.  It took one of the most bad-ass fighting units ever and turned it into a teenage angst-fest.

X-men with Angst! That is just wrong!  :)

Actually as I said the show gets much better the third season when they remember that they are x-men and you get episodes whith continuity and some great battles.

Also it has an underpowered Rouge which I like, The character is interesting enough without the flight and other inherent powers, not as good as movie Rouge but still an interesting character.

Out of the few episodes of Evolution, I agree with Nix that it's too whiny. It's like that new Batman cartoon. It tries too hard to be hip and angsty, but just comes across as stupid. To appeal to kids or teenagers, you don't need angst, you just need shit to blow up. (And I *hate* what they did to the Brotherhood of Mutants. They are not bumblers!)

What I hate about Evolution is it is just the same as any other teenage cartoon, same problems, same solutions, same 'moral', same messages, it's as if because they have mutant powers it makes the whole plot repeating undetectable, siigh, when will they learn? Teenagers don't give a shit.

i think they didnt make a very good shadowcat in evolutin.
1. she isnt THAT much of a vally girl
2. whene she phases through things she has to be
holding her breth and whene she phases through
stuff in the show, she is talking and breathing
3. whene she is introduced in the show they make referance to her intelegence, but whene she was in computer class she didnt do well and shes a COMPUTER GENIOUS

Y'all noticed the reference to Gambit in the 2nd movie though--right? I might be forgetting where one of you mentioned it, but I sawrd it.  :)

The new cartoon not only suffers from plots inundated in CHEESE--but even the new ones, which definitely have better plots--suffer from CRAPPY DIALOGUE. I watch it and I keep thinking, "Jesus H. Christ--have the writers of this show ever actually conversed with someone?" And I hate the way Gambit, Juggernaut, and Magneto look. They look like crap. And I think Professor X is ALWAYS out of character and totally impotent.

I am also a lubber of the old cartoon ^_^

And Hank "Beast" McCoy, and Omega Red, and there had to have been plenty of others on that screen - I can't wait for it on DVD so I can pause it.

Check out IMDB to see most of the mutants who made cameos in X2.

There was tons of stuff on the screen but supposedly, Gambit does make an actual physical appearance. I didn't see him when I first watched it, and I'm not shelling out another fiver just to catch a glimpse of him.

[edit]OK, turns out there was a cameo shot but it doesn't appear in the film. Might turn up on the DVD though

I didn't see Omega Red! Dangit I thought I got them all.  :( Yeah Gambit was just a name on the computer screen at--err--that one place. Shoot, I can never remember what happens in movies for very long.

I was watching Xmen evolution last night on CN, and geez I think the Spike/Pietro rivarly was REALLY poorly done. Oh well I'm too nitpicky anyway.

Sebastian Shaw, Sebastian Shaw - I should know that name, why can't I remember it?

Colossus owns you.  Although I always imagined him sounding more . . . Russian.

I dont think so NibblerJR.

Mabey they mean how deathstrike is not refered to as lady deathstrike in the film.

I really hope beast, Colossus and Gambit make proper apperances in X3. Aswell as Angel and some new baddies!!

Girl in X-men like Wolverine? Well, there's Wolfsbane who was in X-Factor who could turn into a wolf. Maybe they're refering to that crappy Mutant X series...

I think if they add any new characters to the films they're going to have to take some out too as there's too many appearing (Cyclops and Storm's parts are getting less and less). For those who know what happens in the next film:

I'd like to see Beast though (the big BLUE beast) and Gambit, presumably replacing Wolverine. And Bishop (my favorite character) would be nice, but then they have to include all the time travel stuff.

If you add up the time Cyclops was in X2 it would probably be about 5 mins.
