I heard that MTV stole the female host of Uranium and they're having her host Headbanger's Ball.

However, if the new show plays crap like Limp Bizkit, then I'm ditching it on principle.

MTV is dead, and has been for a long, long time. As such, it doesn't warrant any of my time, and shouldn't warrant anyone else's either.

I only saw 'Headbangers Ball' when Fear Factory was on awhile back.

I agree, MTV is dead. Besides old Daria episodes, and the odd Wrestling Shows, its dead.

Oh, it turns out that they'll be showing "Headbanger's Ball" on MTV2. Screw that.

And MTV is indeed dead. They don't even show wrestling anymore.

Sooooo glad we have Kerrang TV in the UK, also we have Skuzz which plays Rock/Punk/Hardcore.  More music channels than you can shake a shitty stick at.

MTV?  Who's that?

When I read "headbangers" I thought it was some gabber/hardcore event down in central Europe.

Oh well, we'll always have the Thunderdome.

MTV has a stupid "rock" show with the posers hosting (good charlotte) and the only good thing they do play is the donnas and audioslave. The rest is poser rock music.

ugh...audioslave...I liked their respective bands much more. we might as well as face the music (no pun intended), but rock music is pretty much dead. it's all just a sea of poseur rap-metal, poseur punk, and supposed "hard" rock. it's sickening, and perhaps the greatest reason why I never watch MTV or even listen to the radio anymore. i find it pathetic that the most popular bands are these poseur groups, i guess it just goes to show us that the majority of the music listening world are complete idiots.

Headbanger's Ball, eh? Blast from the past, indeed.
I met the chick that used to present that show, at Rock City, and her make-up was plastered on an inch thick... quite a sight to behold (not in a good way).
I don't get MTV2 anyway, but I do miss Headbanger's Ball. Maybe now I'll have to consider digital... and of course, for KerrangTV, which totally rocks.

Satan, stop spamming. No way you can register on June 11th and already have over 100 posts by June 15th. The point of Peel is to converse, not to get the highest rank available by July.

EDIT: AND CHANGE YOUR DAMN AVATAR!
