Anyone ever seen the episode of Ed (NBC TV show) where the guy (Warren maybe?) says, "It's a doggie dog world out there, Ed."? Well, NBC is now running promos for a show called Dog Eat Dog which, when they say "Dog Eat Dog" sound a whole lot like "Doggie dog."
But, what's on now? 300th Episode of Law and Order.

Israel and Turkey are NOT in Europe Technically Turkey is, Israel almost certainly isn't, and no-one in their region will be friends with them, so us Europeans for some reason are sort of friendly towards them. The Eurovision should have died aeons ago.

Do you ever put subtitles on when people are singing in a non-English language? A few years ago someone was singing about them being excited about their dog dying. Pure genius! Seriously though Terry Wogan's commentary is the highlight of the evening. Well actually its the only good thing about the evening.

And everone did, didn't they? Kudos to Turkey, Belgium (sorry Zeej, just beaten by a huge country but who has even less landmass in Europe than Belgium itself - still, atleast you weren't beaten by Isreal) and Russia (Go Teenage Lesbian Duos, go! ), and special mention to Austria. Terry's "eejit" did however know how to...strike a cord with many voters. Unlike Britannia, who didn't really manage to strike a cord at all. Interesting diplomatic acts going on here. Croats voting for Bosnians and Russians. Germans voting for Poles as their "you know, neighbours". Ukranians also voting for Russians. Even the Cypriots voted for Turkey!!! Yet no one voted for the UK. Perhaps it wasn't just that the sound sucked, since most Eurovision entries do, but more to do with what Terry said was "Post Iraqi Backlash". Interesting. Of course this means that Britain can't take part next year. Pity.
