I was watching The Simpsons on Sky. Now I'm not because they're both Season 14 episodes which I've seen already.

And the "encounters" with the Borg can be explained away with "alternate universe" theory. Or maybe Starfleet use Microsoft Access, and the database got corrupted  :evillaugh:.

You mean the crappy early 80s version? I'm surprised you hadn't seen that (or at least heard of it) Teral. It's was a made-for-TV miniseries that was only decent. I think Douglas Adams disowned it, though. I didn't think it was horrible or anything, but the effects and direction were lacking. Seriously.

That is the worst show i have EVER seen. Its just not funny but the 'audience' (laughing track) is constantly laughing this annoying laugh.

anyway I'm watching a VFL game (nothing else on) Box Hill vs. Sandringham

It certainly didn't come close to the quality of the radio show, but I don't think Adams disowned it. The Guide graphics were gorgeous, IMHO.

The main characters were all the same, except for Trillian, and it had that "Doctor Who" BBC low-budget FX for extra emphasis.

It's still pretty good though. The whole season (6 eps) was recently released on DVD.

To answer the question, it's the original sci-fi comedy, made practically for nothing by the BBC (until it got really popular). Really funny, and if you like Futurama you'll enjoy it. It also features classic dodgy BBC FX...

You mean the "Award Winning BBC Radiophonic Workshop Special Effects!!!"...and those FX were good (for the BBC)...those obvious matte outlines, dodgy models, Zaphod's awful second head...

Anyway, I just finished watching Casualty, and have switched over to 100 Worst Britons...

The 100 worst Britains too.
Could they have Harry Potter? Apparently the rules were they had to be British, Alive and not in jail/awaiting trial.
There were alot of people there that deserved to be there, and the order was about right too!
