This is kinda like The Goof Thread but it's to do with movie goofs not Futurama goofs. Anyway to start of, in Commando (Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie) when he goes to drop the guy over the cliff you can see the guy on string.  :laff: Idoits!

There are plenty in that film, when he drives of in "cliff guy's" car the massive dent caused in a crash appears and disappears, later when he is blasting away with a machine gun whenever the belt is about to run out it suddenly regrows  :p

Also, stupid it may seem, but when he runs shoting all those men who are shoting him, I think there where about 10, they never got him and they had a clear shot!  :p

You're looking for goofs in an Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie?
     :laff:
Oh wait, you're serious. Let me laugh at you even harder...
    :laff:      :laff:

Aside from that, there is a goof in Dr. Strangelove. In that film you see a B-52 Bomber flying lowlevel towards Russia. However sometimes you see the shadow of the plane on the ground. But it's the shadow of a different plane (looks like a B-17)

Anyway, good idea for a thread.

The Matrix
There are about 150 mistakes in this film, but I only noticed one, which was that you can see the camcorder thing reflected in the doorknob when they go and see The Oracle.

Spider-Man
There are lots in this film as well. The one I noticed was when Peter Parker is testing his spider powers in his bedroom and he breaks his lamp, you can see it mended in the same place in the next scene.

Yes, the Matrix has some goofs in it...
But i think this one was intended.
During the lobby shootout, Neo fires two small MPs at the same time. You see the empty cartridges falling down in slowmotion. They are way too large to be used in these MPs, but it makes it look better...

You can see a gas cylinder in the back of one of the chariots (when it's on its side) in the Barbarian/Carthage fight in Gladiator.

In the chick flick "Where the Heart Is", there's a scene where Natalie Portman and this guy are talking in the door way of his hotel room.  For a second, the microphone dips down into view.  I think that was the only time I laughed during this movie...

at the end of back to the future when doc comes and says "you've gotta come back with me", when the car backs out into the street, if u look at the weird futuristic license plate that is all reflecty, u can clearly see the camera reflected.

Also at the start of 007 Goldeneye, when Bond uses the nightvision scope / camera to take a picture of Xenia Onnatop, he puts it to one eye, but then in the next shot its on a different eye!

Yeah, plus the fact that they have a lot of slow motion!   :p Matrix didn't hide all of their goofs well did they.

"Apparently" if you look hard enough during the famous chariot race of Ben Hur you'll see a Ferrari...

There are several historical inaccuracies in Gladiator (not including the fate of Commodus, who was killed by his bodyguard in real life), but most of them are understandable or minor - like stirrups for example, it would have been bloody awkward for everybody if they rode the horses like they did in Roman times.

I think there's one in The Fugitive, the scene where he's walking into a railway tunnel, the camera pans down too much and you can see the hood of a car or camera rig fitted with train type wheels.
Or did I just imagine that one?

Too many geeks looking for nits in those movies.  The one in Star Wars could also be a comment on crappy Imperial engineering (doors that stick partway up) and poor visiblity in Stormtrooper uniforms (which is why he hits his head).

There's a scene in one of the Julia Roberts' movies (Either Runaway Bride or My Best Friend's Wedding, I don't remember which) where they get into the back of a Mercedes, but when they're shown in the car, you can see the Lincoln logo on the seats.

I'm surprised no-one has put up a link to Nitpickers.com yet. I post there once in a while...
I even found a goof in Gladiator recently. It's hard to find anything new when 151 goofs (plus 60 that were refuted) has been mentioned already!  :)

one i noticed in Gladiator, when hes riding a horse back to his house to find it had been burnt down, in the field next to the path he is riding on you can clearly see tire tracks on it.

In "The Rock", during the chase scene (when Cage is in a Ferrari, and Connery in a Humvee), Cage drives through some parking meters, which causes the windshield to break. Just a few shots later, the windshield is fixed. And when he gets on the bike, you can see that the front wheel isn't rotating (i.e. fixed to a trailer).

In "Behind Enemy Lines" set in 1993, we see a Sky News report - using the new version of the Sky logo only created in 2001.

Just watch any large battle scene in "Braveheart."
If you look carefully enough, you'll often pick out extras fighting nobody, just standing there swinging their swords and trying to look busy.
