The Forbidden Zone DVD I ordered a month ago came in!!!    :D

I've been trying to find a copy of this movie since I was in grade 9 (approx. 9 years).  Fantomas put out a great disc in late August, but the Canada release date wasn't 'till Sept. 21st.  Then, it took my local video store forever to get it (for some reason, it never came on the 21st), but I got it on Friday!       It's my own personal holy grail, and I got it!

I also got Sledge Hammer!: Season One, but I'm not as excited about that.

EDIT: TOTP Rhumba.  Also, I just realized that was the first time I ever used the "love" smiley in a post, as far as I can remember.

I've upgraded The Shawshank Redemption DVD from a one disc to a 3 disc SE!

I find the narrating the whole movie a bit weird:
"A title appears with black background and white text: CastleRock Entertainment presents...
Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman..."
etc
All the way through the movie!!

It's like they narrated the whole movie for blind people... an idea which is lost on me.   :hmpf:

I cannot find the 3 disc SE, just the 2-disc!!   :(  I want that 3-disc set so much...

Anyway, I've added to my collection:

Cocoon
To Die For
Dawn of the Dead [2004]: Unrated Driector's Cut

and I upgrade by original Dawn of the Dead to the 4-disc "Ultimate Edition".  (Note to Anchor Bay Entertainment: this is the 3rd and FINAL time I'm buying the original "DotD", so this edition had better be "Ultimate"!)

Huh...
I checked PlayUSA and they have a 10th anniversary one, but it's only 2 disc!
Haha, looks like R1 got screwed!  :p

Another odd thing: the R2 3 disc edition here is €22.49 and the R1 2 disc edition is €23.99...
Funk-ay.  :hmpf:

I never purchase things in €€€'s from Play.com anyway, it usually works out slightly cheaper if you order in £££'s and just convert to €€€'s!  :D

Or I could look on the bright side:  I have 19 of those discs, only 222 to go.  It's also nice to note I own 2 of the OOP titles... maybe in 15 years I can sell those to some insane DVD collector at an exorbant price and use that money to buy this set.
