I've actually heard two rumours/spoilers:

and

But I do know that 2 people die in this one. And Harry being a Horcrux is probable. Or Neville? Seeing as though he's part of the prophecy too. Maybe.

I don't know if this rumor is true or not, but this was what was going around:

I thought that was pretty crazy, and really dark for a childlings book...  but Wow.  Just Wow!!!

Why is it a stupid idea?

Also, i wreckon Rowling's gonna chuck a Whedon and be like

Mr Weasly: You have to tell me how you know so much about Muggles Hermoine.
Hermoine: No. I don't.
*Dies*

Fred and George do some awesome flying on their brooms, saving harry from Voldermort somehow.
F&G: We're Phoenix feathers on the wind!
*Dies*

Voldermort casts a Avada Kedavra at harrys back and thinks he's dead, harry then springs up and says! "Hah! I lost that nerve in a quiditch match!" He then cripples voldermort...then they're no longer enemies...and then Harry and Ron fly up out through rain...   :hmpf:

Eesh, that just sucks! I think I'll leave the internet soon and return after I've finished the book.  :( I've had both previous books ruined for me, and I really wouldn't like it to happen now.

I just want somebody to confirm this newest rumor I heard.  I don't believe it a whole lot, but I think it might be true:

Cause if that's the case, I think the series has been going downhill since the first book.

Also, found this did.  But dont click if you not want be spoiled:

Don't click this link.

Found it after half an hour's googling to try and confirm/quash the contents of Winna's second spoiler (link to a scanned page from the book).

Don't click it.

Serioulsy. Don't click.

Seems that Winna's second spoiler may be true, so don't click on his link either. The above link contains chapter summaries and scans of pages of the book that reveal critical moments, including the whole of the final chapter. I have to say, this is either real or a fake that somebody spent a LOT of time energy and money putting together.

I have been thoroughly spoilered in my attempt to confirm the information given in Winna's link. If you do not want to be thoroughly spoilered yourself, do not click the link I have provided.

However, if you're curious and want to know, then your curiosity should be satisfied.

Personally, I don't mind being spoilered. It's no worse than reading a TV guide in my opinion. To be honest, there are some things that are being given away as massive spoilers that really everybody more or less should have known about. There are some things that are slightly surprising, but given Rowling's penchant for foreshadowing I can see why none of the spoilered material should be a major surprise.

I don't consider the seventh book to have been ruined for me by the spoilers, but I do think that people should think carefully before they go looking for spoilers. I have posted this here because I think it's useful to know that there are major spoilers out there, and anybody who rolls their cursors over the link can see the url - which they can then avoid like the plague if they feel the need.

I feel sad for the people who need everything to be a surprise for it to be enjoyable though.

That said, it's a fair bet that

I'm amazed that somebody would take the time to upload all 600+ pages of that book, if it's true, which, for some reason, I doubt it is. But if it is, wow. How'd he get it and why'd he waste his time leaking it to the whole world when he can get into huge trouble for it?

Well, anyway, can we all have a gentleman's agreement to put anything that might be even a small leak in spoilers? For the sake of those who haven't seen the leak, won't be able to get it at its release, or whatever other reason.

I'm wondering why there's one thing that doesn't appear to have been spoiled: does Harry actually become a likeable character in this one?

It's a stupid idea because it's contradicted by pretty much every piece of evidence given in the previous books. Quite honestly, I'll lose a lot of respect for the author if it turns out to be true.

I just read the summery on wikipedia (I know I'm lame.) And while I'll probably read the book later there's one thing about the epilogue that I thought was stupid.

So, I just pulled an all-nighter to finish the book.  My thoughts are still in a jumble right now, so I have but one thing to say at the moment:

Also, I totally called where Snape truely lies. :P

In our hearts?

Also... I don't see it as farfetched that several of the major characters got married at the end spacedal.  The wizard world seemed like a small niche society of people, and within smaller groups it's very common that people marry the people that they've known as children.

I've read the book now. I can say with some certainty that the ending of Harry Potter beats the ending to the Dark Tower with a big 'ol can-stick-bag of whoopass.

It's not a great ending, but I'm just grateful that Harry didn't open the door at the top of Gryffindor tower and step back in time to be reborn as his one-ear-old self. That would have sucked.

I also pulled an all nighter and finished it early sunday morning. I was satisfied by the body count but upset about who made up said body count. I spent the whole book going "Shit not her!" "Shit not him!" "Gah! NO!" The movie could very well rock if done correctly. I could have done without the epilogue, but it wasn't that bad.

Edit: I forgot to add, I also went to see the latest movie because I was told that the acting was better than in the previous movies. Well, they stuck to the book pretty well, but the acting was still so bad to me that I doubt I'll ever watch another Harry Potter movie again.
