But yeah, good episode.  Did anyone not see that the phonecall was a trap?  Seriously, Jack outsmarts an evil president, an evil RoboCop, an evil Dr. Romano, and a slew of Russian terrorists only to fall for the old "you've got a phone call waiting in a tactically disadvantageous spot"-trick?  Please.
I called it, and I've been watching this show for all of a month.

I predict much torture and beating will ensue in the early hours of next season.

Did anyone else notice that the Chinese Consul was the same guy that played Consul Han in Rush Hour?  No, you didn't, because I watched that movie way far too goddamn much and wish I could scour it from my mind.  But are there so few Chinese actors that one can end up playing essentially the same person in two entirely unrelated works?  The answer is coincidence.

This TOTPD takes place between the pages of 4 and 5.

I rented the second season first disc tonight, and watched all 4 episodes back to back. I never really started to watch it until the end of the 4th season.

Holy shit!
God, I can't wait for this season to start.
I have to admit thought, I wish we could have seen what happened to Jack when he was caught by the Chinese.

So...I'm guessing the big twist this season is that Jack Bauer doesn't die?  'Cause the ad seemed pretty insistent that he would.

Well he almost dies in every other season, but narrowly escapes each time. I don't think this one will be any different.

He does not just almost die every other season.  He has died, but then he comes back to life.  I have a count of him resurrecting at least twice.  Thats better than Jesus.

I can already tell this is going to be a great season.  In the first night we learned that Kumar is a terrorist and Jack is a day-walker vampire.

I've never watched this show until tonight. (I heard all the good reviews during the 1st season and didn't bother 'cause I was sure it'd be cancelled immediately.  :p How wrong I was.)
Good stuff. That bomb going off was one of the biggest    moments I've ever had while watching tv.

Yeah thats how they hook you.  Everytime you think you know whats going on, they switch it up on you.  The only thing that you know for sure is that Jack will do ANYTHING if he thinks its right for America.

So, I was watching 24, and Jack calls his brother.  And I'm like, hey, I know that guy from somewhere.

I watched a lot of season one then I kind of slacked off and couldn't get back in the groove of the show, that happens a lot when I start watching a more in depth show that you kind of have to pay more attention to than a comedic show that you can get into at your leisure, I still like the Jack Bauer character, but I have absolutely no idea what's going on with the show now

Meh.  I've only really watched Seasons two, five, and this one.  I'll admit, there are a number of callbacks I don't get.

And BC, I'm not talking about the actor: Gray was the shady goon in the headset giving orders to President Logan last season.  So...he's the Big Bad, basically.

Yeah the leader of the "blue tooth" crew from last season is Jack's brother.  Man he has some issues, looks like he can't compare to Jack even with his wife.

Ok, so far this season has been awesome, except for Curis getting killed off. Wayne Palmer is president, which is totally cool. Bill Buchanan is still running CTU. Jack escaped from the chinese, and is now back to normal and kicking ass. A Nuclear bomb exploded in LA. Jacks Brother is a terrorist, and now we learned that his father is also.
And he might be the father of his nephew. jeeze.

And i have now seen every episode of 24. Season 2 is the best in my opinion.

Yeah, Jack serious family issues.  No wonder why he commits so much to his job.

Man, Morris could have got away if he wanted to.  I know if I get a call from Jack, I'm not asking any questions.  Just do what he says, he's Jack Fuckin' Bauer.

Season 7 has a great start, it's been long since I've been that much into 24. I never saw the first season but everything after that. It's on a bad time for my on Thursday evenings but I can catch the rerun on Sunday nights. It's the greetest!

Or you could catch it on DVD or watch it online for free.

I love this show.  I love the plotlines and how the story unfolds.  I just wish that there was less Jack and more of a focus on the plot. He gets too much screen time.
