Dexter's Lab - Dodgeball and that one where his sister grows several hundreds of feet and Dex battles with her. Classics.

Math wizard: "I, the evil mathematician will capture all these children and force them to do home forever!"
But then...
Dexter: "Major Glory!"
Major Glory: "Mmmm, that's right. You asked for it!"
Math wizard: "Ah ah ah, no violence in schools."
Major Glory: "Mmmm, you're right. But there is one way to stop you!"
Math wizard: "Noooo! Not justice fruit-pies! I'd be crazy to hate it! Doooo'h, I give up."
Later...
Dexter: "Thanks, Major Glory."
Major Glory: *Munching* "Tuk, nee tak et oy!"
Dexter: "What?"
Major Glory: "I said, 'At me nek tute dooooo'h'!"
All: "Hahahahahahahaha!"

It's the new series, and they used the badass 90s Aquaman, not the goony 60s one.

I was watching a really old Superfriends last night, around like 3 am, and I started to think about Aquaman...does the dude have any superpowers at all? You know, ones that don't require him being in the water? Super-strength, at least?

Evan, it's one of the best movies of last year and a really, really good DVD - 2 commentaries, a bunch of interviews, New Order video and a 2nd disc which has Peter Hook and a bunch of others from that time getting drunk and reminiscing - great stuff

Having been into the Manchester Music Scene at the time, and followed the "Factory" story (and known of Tony Wilson) at the time, the movie is particularly good for me.

I posted in the Movie Thread that I believe that Steve Coogan is channelling Tony Wilson.  Also, performance-wise, Sean Harris as Ian Curtis and the guy who played Rob Gretton (Joy Division/New Order Manager) are incredible, and the guy who played Gollum, playing Martin Hannett.

It's quite a different experience to have the real Tony Wilson commentate on the movie.  Yes, he is really that pretentious, and yes, he still believes Shaun Ryder to be a genius.

I would highly, highly recommend this movie, especially for the soundtrack (Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is still one of the best pop-songs ever written.) - and I will be buying it.

"Fitzgerald said, in America, there are no second acts.  Well, this is Manchester, we do things differently around here.  This is the second act."

Brilliant.
