Man, I think I'm gonna cry, Beck's hit me in the same place Azumanga did, I just finished episode twelve, really sad.

Right, so Koyuki sings with Dying Breed and feels pretty damned good, but then he sees Maho with some American dude.

And he's like:

Whoa, shit, did that kiss mean anything?

And I'm like "Whoa, shit, did that kiss mean anything?"

So then he's out and he sees that girl he liked earlier, Izumi, and she's all "I haven't swam in a while, I need to go get a bathing suit wink, wink" So he goes with her to get a bathing suit.

Later they sneak into the school pool like he did with Maho a while ago. And she's all "I shoulda expressed my feelings" and Koyuki, thinking that Maho isn't interested in him, goes for Izumi-chan.

And everything is going good and all but then he heres the song he sang with Maho that day man, it meant something to her, and she found out and came over there, and started crying, man, ran away, totally sad man, hard choice man.

Uber cliff hanger too, and me, being stupid, promised myself not to watch anymore until tommarrow.

The anime is quite good and the Engrish is fantastic.

I will say though that I much prefer the manga mainly because it carries on further that the anime. It's a pity the site I used to get the manga has shutdown it;s downlaod section.

The movie does look very good but makes a hell of alot less sense than the series did. Especailly as they removed alot of the creapy revalations about some of the characters from the movie.

Bump

Time for another review

Chrono Crusade

Well this series follows a fairly similar pattern to alot of animes. Most of the characters start off very wacky then as the series progresses they all become more sobre. Not that this is a bad thing. To honest I grew weary of the wackyness quite qucikly on this series.

This story is set in America in the roaring 20's, following the Religious order of Magadaline. They are an order of Nun's mainly whom track down demons that pop up in America and take care of them. The story mainly follows Sister Rosette Christopher and the demon whom is contracted to her Chrono. The story basically unravels around a demon called Aion, who wishes to take over heaven which includes removing the head of Pandimonum (this is actually Lucifer...not sure why they call her Pandamonium). To acomplish his goals he also needs the successor to the spirt of Mary of Magadaline.

The animation is quite tight through out and the uses of 20's slang feels well used. Although I am no expert on Christainity i did enjoy some of the theorys presented.

Anyway, I just got done with BECK, its damn good, man, good music, good heart felt moments, I hope there's a second season. ^_^

In the last episode the bassist of BECK jams with his new band, The Pillows. (They call themselves something else though)

Good shit.

I'm stunned. Hell has frozen over. Toonami's picked up an anime that's actually entertaining: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (and Naruto, but Naruto doesn't count here.)

I've only seen one ep, but the clearly purposely over-the-top dub combined with the sheer "I can't believe I'm watching this" and "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS GOING ON?" factors actually make it hilarious. and if anyone cares, here's the plot:

Quote
Bo Bobo is a man with the incredible power of hearing the voices of hair and using his own to fight. He uses his power to fight off the Margarita Empire and all of EmperorTsuru Tsuruiina's minions who are stealing the hair off of anyone they find to power up their emperor.

The dude fights with nose hair and armpit hair. That's all I'm gonna say. This show must be watched.

Time once more for a review

2*2 = Shinobuden

Hmmmm how describe this show, well a picture is worth a thousend words  and the picture above may give you a taste of the weirdness in Shinobuden.

Basically Shinobu is a ninja in training being taught the very odd creature called Onsukamaru (that yellow ball thing). To me it cetainly seems this show was created in responce to Naruto especailly the obsurd techniques they use (add to that the head ninja at ninja tech is called Sasuke).

This is a comedy show that can be just plain weird at times but still very funny and I do recomend it.

Now I will get back to School Rumble (which is very good so far)

I just saw the FullMetal Alchemist movie "The Conqueror of Shambala". It was cool, Al is sick in the movie (Both physically and alchemically). I don't think their teacher could even touch him now. Just wondering if anyone saw it and what they thought of it.

So Outlaw Star kicks Bebop's ass?

What twisted fantasy world are you living in. Not even Big Boobed Catgirls could beat Bebop.

In the ned it all comes down to personal preference. Personallly I liked both of the series. Besides although there were similarites between the shows they both done in different styles. You shoudl just enjoy the anime for the show and stop comparing it.

Anyway tiem for a review of a really good anime

School Rumble

Basics of this show is it is a school based comedy romance. That said for the most part the romance takes a back seat. It mainly uses  misunderstandings and stupidly realised confessions rather than the really heavy romance you get from certain other shows.

may as well let anidb describe it

"Tsukamoto Tenma is always chasing after the rather unusual Karasuma Ooji, to no avail. Her over-the-top methods don`t even seem to register, but she keeps trying. Harima Kenji, the class rebel, is desperately trying to confess his feelings to Tenma, also with no luck. It`s a comedy love-triangle, with humour that comes in from left field!"

That is a fair description. Now I know it does sound like a verycliche premise but the show is great. Although it focuses on two of the characters mostly it does have a large supporting cast whom are all fun in there own way.

Basically a show that is well worth a look see.

Don't mind the goet off internet comment, just been waiting for an opportunity to use it.

Now it's done. ^_^

Bebop had Outlaw Star really whipped in only one category: Music.  But how the hell can you ask a composer to compete with Yoko Kanno?

Clearly OS was lower-Budget than CB, so you can't really compare animation back to back, but you can say that for the budget it had, it did an outstanding job.

I still like outlaw star just a bit more than Cowboy Bebop because Outlaw Stars characters were all cut from diferent cloth, all interacting with eachother in different ways and just making a scene of the whole thing, it was just great to see what lunatic personalities they'd play off of next (Gren Kahn for example, always makes me laugh out loud, he has that kind of Dr.Strangelove comic lunacy about him I just adore).  This is opposed characters In Bebop were over-dramatized or shrouded in mystery and then played off with somewhat pretentious, poker-faced performances.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bebop, but Outlaw star has just won me over to hard.

The bobobobo(...) dub is actually very faithful, don't ask how I know this.

The only title I've got really involved in recently is Honey & Clover. Probably cause it's so similar to the lifestyle at uni, as poor artstudents finding new ways to make mad things edible.

I just noticed that Adult Swim will be U.S. premiering Evangelion Thursday at 12:30, with replays later in the week. I wonder how much will be chopped out in order to make it "decent to air."

I remember hearing that southpark: BLU Was run in its entirety on Comedy central after 3:00 AM, and I'm scratching my head as to wheater or not [as] will run EoE.  As for censorship of Eva, they'l not censor it to hard is my bet.  Almost all of its indulgancies are neccissary evils to the plot.

I was referring to the nudity. I believe they'll jsut cover it up, like they have with previous anime nudity. The show's going to be on late enough that I think most of it will be able to stay on the air, until the last few episodes.

And the three nude female forms during the opening credits...which they showed...

I only have one more disc left of Outlaw Star to go. I thought the middle section was a little iffy, but the begining and the end are quite good. It's light-hearted enough to be a rousing adventure story without falling into some sentimentality (which really isn't its strong suit).

Me:If you're such a high diplomat of the Ktaru-Ktaru Empire and a mighty warrior, why are you wearing a bell on your neck? Are you a kitty?
Aisha: I am not a kitty!
