Zombie College

I wasn't quite sure what forum to put this in, so if it's in the wrong place please forgive me.

This has been discussed here before, I remember, but I did a search and it didn't turn up any results, so I posted a new topic.

Anyway, as some of you may be aware, Eric Kaplan (who is co-producer of Futurama) created a "web show" called Zombie College.  Here's a brief descripion of the show:

"At Arkford University, human and zombie integration is a college mandate. When nice-guy Scott turns down M.I.T. to follow his girlfriend to Arkford, he discovers that college takes a lot of adjustment. Especially at Arkford, where you have to cope with the prejudice of the living, hang on to all your body parts, and find that special someone who will let you eat her brain. As if college wasn't hard enough, try finding a cafeteria that serves decent rotting gastrointestinal tract."

A while back Fox picked up the rights to the show with the intent of making it into a tv series, but that never materialized. 

To make a long story short, here's a link to the first (only?) 12 episodes in shockwave format.  A lot of the voices are done by Futurama regulars, including John DiMaggio, Billy West, and a few others.  Worth checking out if you've never seen it, although it can be gross at times...

I saw the first two or three episodes on UGO.com. I hate to say it, but I wasn't horribly impressed by it. It was fair, but the fact that each show was only 5 minutes kind of hurt it

Oh, and the next mod. is going to move this to the TV forum. Just calling it.

Sorry about putting it in the wrong forum... I pretty much doomed myself when I said "I wasn't sure where to put this"   

My opinion was kind of the same - it was "ok".  More like a novelty than anthing else.  Interesting to hear some of the voices of futurama working on something else, but it just wasn't that funny.

That guy with the intestines and the head was funny (more great work from John) he was the funniest, but he was too much like Bender, I still wished they made more episode's and made it into a TV show like you said.

Then they could add more jokes.

I've only seen up to episode 4.

Have they ever made any more online Critic episodes? I've seen up to #10.

I'm pretty sure there are only the 10 Critics online. Those are like 2 years old, so if they were going to make more, I think they would have been made.

I wish they had, though.

i think zombie college is pretty lame, or maybe it's just because I think it's overrated the way some people try to kiss eric kaplan's ass like he's so great. meh

I kinda sorta liked this show a lot... Spent a lot of time trying to make a web site for it.  but ditched it.

the show would be better if it was longer.  5 minutes is just too short.

would it really be that hard to make flash movies that are 30 mins

They could have put the first couple of episodes into one actually, that would have been good
