In 1997, I was in the National Geography Bee.  The finals were hosted by Alex Trebek.  He talked with the me and the other finalists some before and after the bee.
In 2001, our quiz bowl team was at Pepperdine for an academic competition.  After the tournament was over, we were playing basketball in one of the gyms there.  Then someone noticed that Adam Sandler was there.  We needed one more person to even up the teams, and he obliged.
In 2005, I danced atop the second page of this thread.
