Here is a photo of me and Danny John Jools, who plays the cat from Red Dwarf. He was really nice. I met him and the other cast in Liverpool when they did the Red Dwarf Convetion there in 1998.

And this is the Real Elvis from the wax episode.

So who have you met and have you got photo of you and a famous person?

It's different seeing him without the pointy teeth!

I have a picture of me and an old TV kiddies presenter called Andi Peters. I was dressed up as a pirate and I was 4  :)

Nice. I got Carel Struycken's signed pic (in the role of Mr. Homn, servant of Lwaxana Troi, Star Trek TNG)

This is his role of the giant, in Twin Peaks.

...and that is all.

You're not an idiot, you just haven't lived yet  :p

Nah, Red Dwarf is one of the best British comedies of the 80/90s. It also did fairly well in America too  :)

We met Paul Merson (Arsenal football player) at Centre Parcs, got a picture, then the camera chewed up the film... I know it's not about TV, but still worth a mention.

I've met Fred Dineage the one time I was on TV.

I've met most of the guys from red dwarf, we went to a recording of the polymorph 2 episode. They're really funny and really nice people. Plus I met Bruce Campbell (who is almost a god... honest!)

One of my friends at high school knew Matt Bellamy from Muse pretty well and had Dom's phone number. Also another few of my high school friends met up with a group called Idlewild and were invited to go backstage with them at a later concert  :)

And me? Never met or came into contact with anyone famous in any way shape or form  ;)

I've met Steve Coogan, Pete Wylie and Glen Matlock (who was the original bass player in the Sex Pistols.)

All cool, especially Glen Matlock. - Coogan was surreal.

If you want to talk celebrities - I've met Tarby, Brucie & Parky.  They all took part in Pro Celebrity Golf which used to take place in my home town.  Proper Celebs !

Ive met Hale and Pace in spain (at La Manga Golf course and later in a local Bar) Gareth was sound and just wanted to play golf and get drunk.  Norman was full of the "look everyone im famous".  He kept anouncing his name at full volume to get peoples attention, whilst ignoring normal people, and had this suck arse entourage that followed him around and laughed at his really shit jokes, the guys a nob.

I also used to play football against Paul Robinson (leeds keeper) as a school boy. (his school was two miles away from mine).

Yeah right - he plays for Portsmouth now - top of the first division and cruising.

Who have I met?  The WH Smiths cats (about a decade ago) Loads of TV presenters (News ones), the Queen, Prince Philip, Bill Clinton, and Al Gore.  I have pictures of Gore, Clinton, and the Queen, but no scanner/ facility anyway, so not much use.  Come to think of it, they probably don't count as celebrities, but hey, they're famous.

[edit]  Oh yeah - Roger Black too - he's a runner from England.  He went to the same school as me (and wukong), and sang in the same choir as me (it was a long time ago).  I did sing at his wedding though. [/edit]

I don't think I've met any celebrites face to face. I've been in the crowds of some talk shows, though. That doesn't count, because there was no real interaction going on.

Oh, and I slept with Shakira once? Does that count?   :p

PS. She was really drunk at the time, so don't bother trying to ask her to verify it.

My mum met Sir Bobby Charlton once. When she told me I was saying "Did you get his autograph?" and she said she wasn't very interested in footie  :( I know we have some of 'The Who's autographs.

My school is having a autograph auction on wednesday - last year my mate brought Anne Robinson's for £15!

I only remembered this yesterday:

The guys in Red:Shift and some buddies were in "The Last Drop Inn" in York a few months ago, when in walks Mark Addy (Dave from The Full Monty, and Fred Flintstone in Viva Rock Vegas).
He's a cool guy, on his own, just having a drink with the locals, and a laugh along with us.

The autograph that went for the most money at the auction was David Beckham's. I think it was around £170.
