personally i thing the acting is allot better than most of the stuff that's on TV at the moment.

Anyway got the first two DVD's of series 4 today. Interestingly on the Anthoney Simcoe (Dargo) interview he say's (this is a paraphrase)
"If the series finishs on series 5 or series six or even series 4 I hope it left with the fans saying why did they stop making that great show"

and this interview was filmed before the news of the cancelation.

You'll have to forgive me for the double post and for the farscape swearing, since I know some of you dislike it, but after seeing the final episode all i can say is frell me.

The very end was a patial surprise, I expeted it to happen but not like it did.

Now this is my opion and it may be wrong, and since the Americans have not seen it I shall put it in a spoiler.

It seems to me like they amy have remade the last episode> the begining and the fact that some of the CG did not seem to be of the same high quality as usual. Granted there was a to be continued at the end.
 

Well unless the do renew it I will now bid adieu to a great show.

Even though I'm not a Farscape fan I did decide to tune into the last episode tonight and, well, I don't really know why I bothered. The plot is too weird for me to wrap my head around (which makes sense since I've only even seen 2 or 3 episodes) and those puppets really annoy me.

A great season finale, it is just sad that it is the end of the show, I'd like to have seen how they resolved that cliff hanger:

If we can't have a new series I hope that the BBC repeats it from episode one, if they can repeat Star Trek: TNG ad nauseam they can surely repeat Farscape.

In the Offical Farscape magazine they said the problem with the movie would be that they could not continue the story line. To pitch the idea they would have to convice the the producers and such they would need to show that the film would reach a wide enough audience. They believe the only way they could do this is by restarting, since a new audience would not be interestied if they did not know what was going on.

I think that in the next issue of the Official Farscape magazine there is a fiction writtne by series creator Rockne S O'Brian apparently set in the Future and at the Funral of (cesored)
pehaps this will provide some illumination on the end of the series.
I know I'm getting my issue, mind you i would of anyway   
Aah I just wnet to the Beeb's website and this will be the last issue. Now I will have no Farscape fix

Thats always the best way to end a series, to leave some questions, They have barely shown it at all here, although im not suprised. Almost ALL the channels here have adopted FOXy tactics.

Despite being a mad Farscape fan, I didn't catch the last episode because I was busy at the time. I'll have to wait three more weeks to watch at my parents house 

It's really depressing me as both Futurama and Farscape have been cancelled, Babylon 5 and all it's spin-offs have been cancelled too and Star Trek's going down the drain. I don't watch TV anymore, I just rewatch my DVD collection!

But it will be difficult to get a Farscape movie made as the whole reason Farscape was cancelled was because it wasn't very 'newcomer-friendly'. You need to have seen the series from the begining, and by continuing the storyline in a film (with a much larger risk involved) you exclude a large amount of people who don't know the background.

And considering that the writers already had a plan for the fifth season I don't think I could stand a spin-off which doesn't continue the story!
