Weid goof: no one bleeds with that kind of pressure around their mouth!

I saw the family out on the lawn, I did see the KOTH parody coming right when Homer grabbed a beer. It was good though. The whole episode was decent until the third act, where it was meaningless crap talk about reality shows.

yeah, that episode was pretty decent the stories focusing on the kids seem to be better then when they focus on homer/marge.

I downloaded the new episode last night and I thought it was brilliant. It was really good to see sideshow Bob again. I like his singing at the end of the episode.

The episode was or so funny and and I like the bit were Homer came out of the steam room.

Can you guys tell me the name of that fat guy in the yoga class. I think he was very funny he always makes me laugh.  I also see him in another episode which I can't remember what it was.

Here a picture of the fat man.

He's based on an old radio comedian named Frank Nelson who was on the Jack Benny show.

I concur. Worst episode ever.  Season starting to suck.  Song part unwatchably lame.  Is "unwatchably" a word?  A couple of smart jokes drowned in a sea of stupidity and waste.  Mr. G is obviously concentrating on Futurama and not the Simposons these days.

Well, he's not concentrating THAT much on Futurama, since they're not making any new episodes...

It was better than the last Sideshow Bob episode, because this one actually HAD a mystery.  I did like the part were various Springfieldians  were beating up the Homer doll (except Homer...) and Lisa actually being wrong for once.  I didn't like how Bob's ambition to kill Bart was killed off especially with a lame excuse as being accustumed to his face.  The song was ok, but nothing memorable.  I didn't really like this episode a whole lot, even though it was a lot better than the last one.

I liked the American taxpayer joke followed by the Johnny Carson golf swing.  The rest of it was just OK.  I don't know about that whole eating junk mail as a sandwich thing.  I think they could use a joke like that on Futurama because it's the future, but on the Simpsons it just seemed strange.

Bob's back?
Cool! I thought he was executed in his last episode!!
And that YESSSSSS!! guy was in the one when Homer became Burns's prank monkey and some other episode which I forget.

I don't watch any of the new Simpson's episodes because they have become all about the celebrity guests.  I like the older ones better.  Anything before season 11 basically.

Best part of the whole season:

Billy the Kid: You play the pi-anny.
*Marge begins playing classical music*
Billy: Thats PIANO! I said pi-anny!
*Sighing, she begins playing "Entertainer" style music*
Billy: (Talking to Homer) And you! Play the ce-lly!
*Homer plays the cello*
Billy: You sing a song about cattle rustlin'... and you... sing as song about... er, Robbin' banks!

Chris you actually still had the Fox banner? I was waving my Adult Swim one ever since they started, and AS has only gotten better.

Ugh. Tonight's new episode "Pray Anything" was just super, super weak. Super weak. Weakness can not properly be expressed by this episode. Completely forgettable. Ugh. And they cancelled Futurama for this unremarkable crap?

I think they even ripped off "Family Guy" in this episode. When people start to worship Homer instead of God, and God strikes wrath down upon Homer. Ugh.

Now, now, Evan. They were CLEARLY ripping off Season 4's "Homer the Heretic".

Aside from that, it did remind me of one of the few Family Guy episodes I ever watched. That's not a good thing.   :nono:

Hey I'm waiting for the 300th episode!  Yeah it was a bit of bland repetitive episode tonight, there was something that made me laugh, but i kinda forgot....  But the new sideshow bob episode was good (I say new, but I just mean the latest one with sideshow bob) and Frank Grimes, they really dug back for that one, a little original.  The end sucked though.

"That's the place where J. Lo beat P. Diddy upside the head with Gary Coleman!"

Actual decent episode, that's two in a row...the other one being the first one last week...can't remember exactly what it was about, though...

Saw a new episode last night the one where Edna and Skinner get married anyways it was an ok ep, slightly above average for the last few seasons but still far short of the Simpsons in their hayday.

The Simpsons just aren't as rewatchable as they used to be, I rarely watch an ep from the last few seasons more than once, I've forgotten most of the jokes from last night, the only one I can remember was the gay electric car sponsored by some american oil company which was kinda funny.
It wouldn't bother me too much if the Simpsons were cancelled, the death of Futurama is infinetly more tragic.

last night I downloaded the one where Marge was on steriods and becomes a bodybuilder. She acted like a real bitch trashing the bar and she was out of character.

The best bit is where Marge was focing Homer to have sex with her and then you could just see him being absolutely spent and his body was hitting when he was walking. Poor Homer.

I swear, the Simpsons are getting dumber by the minute.

The last three or so seasons have been an utter mess, making no sense at all. They should of cancelled it while it was still funny. Now its just repetitive and lame.

I just hate how nobody in the press points out how lame the show has become. Everyone's still like "28 seasons and the show is still fresh! God bless FOX!". Ugh! How can Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide take cheapshots at poor little Futurama, when The Simpsons is still fucking on?

Is it just me or from what I see for the 300th episode commercials, it looks like they're doing a parody of DBZ of some sorts with Homer and Tony Hawk. Is that reference too niche, even for The Simpsons?

Somebody stop the presses! Tonight's episode, where Krusty gets elected to Congress, was actually watchable! No, not watchable...but pretty decent!! It was perhaps the best new Simpsons episode I've seen in months (not like that's saying much, though.)

Gotta love those blatant FOX news bashings ("FOX News, a home for evil" ), plus the return of the Republican Party H.Q. (no Birch Barlow, that would have been too cool.) Political satire has returned to the Simpsons!

Last night's episode was pretty good.  There were all kinds of good digs in the messages running across the bottom of the screen during the newscast.  The high level of FOX bashing gets my seal of approval.  That makes two good episodes so far.
