I just finished watching Ran, Kurasawa's version of King Lear.  Good stuff, but disturbingly disturbing.  Definitely enough blood to match one of Shakespeare's messiest plays.

Basically, the show became "All Saiyans, all the time", and the other guys got screwed. At least Tien got to do something in the Buu Saga... Midget Clown Boy vanished entirely.

I meant 'why did he stop being such a badass?' Don't give me that 'no humans allowed crap', cuz Krillin keeps up a little in Buu. Tien lost his edge. And he did get involved in the fight against Cell. He doesn't do much, but he's invovled.

Tien in the Majin Buu saga...

Goku: "It's a good thing you showed up to save us there, Tien. No one ever expected you to show up again."
Tien: "Yeah, I was real.."

(thunk)

(Tien spends the rest of the Saga unconscious and/or dead.)

Or was that show a piss-take?

I watched the Simpsons just there, when Homer get's hair.
And I watched Minority Report and O Brother, Where Art Thou recently too, both brilliant.

I've just found my favourite episode of Red Dwarf VII on tape, so I'm watching it now. It's called "Blue" - the one where Lister misses Rimmer.

He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer...

He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer...

If you're in trouble he will save the day,
He's brave and he's fearless come what may,
Without him the mission would go astray,

He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer,
Without him life would be much grimmer,
He's handsome, trim and no-one's slimmer,
He will never need a zimmer,

He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer,
More reliable then a garden strimmer,
He's never been mistaken for your grinner (?)
He's not bald and his head doesn't glimmer,

Master of the wit and the reparty,
His command of space directives is uncanny,
How come he's such a genious don't ask me,

Ask Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer,
He's also a fantastic swimmer,
And if you play your cards right,
Then he may just come round for dinner.

Funny stuff, especially with the video!

Earlier I was watching "Battle Beyond The Stars" on SciFi Channel.  It's been a long time since the pneumatic talents of Sybil Danning has been on my TV Screen.
