I watched Le fabuleux destin d' Amélie Poulain. That 's Amelie for you non-French speaking folk.

A very touching urban fairy tale. I recommend it.  It 's probably the best French film I 've ever seen.

I 've seen that one. Taxi may be good, but if you 're looking for the best French action film, you should try Doberman. It 's about a gang of bank robbers, and it has lots of ultraviolence.
