Did anyone watch this show, and who actually thinks that the horoscope did change his life?

Never heard of the show, but it sounds like it should run on FOX.  My personal opinion is astrology = a big bunch of crap, so I wouldn't watch the show anyways.  Can you give a summary?

I have no idea what show you're talking about, but . . .

Weird Al Yankovich sang in "Your Horoscope for Today:
Now you may find it inconceivable or at the very least a bit unlikely that the relative position of the planets and the stars could have a special deep significance or meaning that exclusively applies to only you, but let me give you my assurance that these forcasts and predictions are all based on solid, scientific, documented evidence, so you would have to be some kind of moron not to reaize that every single one of the is absolutely true.

I watched this show, and thought it was brilliant.  Especially the last one.

Note for the uninitiated:  Dave Gorman performs a 'scientific experiment' whereby he follows his horoscope (to the letter) for 40 days, to see if it makes his life better (and therefore him happier).

I thought the bit where his horoscope told him that he would "dance out of a dangerous situation" was excellent.  (He stood in oncoming traffic, and when the car got to him, he danced out of the road.) - funny.

I saw the one where he tried to find 50 (?) Dave Gorman's, and even got 4 people to legally change their names to Dave Gorman, including 2 (?) women!
I saw the end of one of the 'astrological experiments' but no other bits.

The astrological experiment showed how astrology could improve his life. His twin brother did the experiment but followed none of the horoscopes, and Dave turned out happier.

The search to find 50 Dave Gormans was good too. It turned there were about 65 rather than the original 50 invited to the party.

It was a close thing tho, only up until the very last day did he finally prove this:

He recorded the data by having a team of 'experts' on three areas, Love, Health and Wealth, then combining the three to make 'happiness points' - up until the last day (day 40) he was still less happier than he would have been had he not followed his horoscope

....and he did that by winning three grand betting on golf.

I only saw the first two or three (up till he went massively unhappy) and they were great.  Then I moved to uni, and couldn't afford the license.  Yes that's an idea...

GO TO THE VOTE THREAD FOR A NEW ERRRM VOTING THING.  Please note, I didn't say it was an interesting thread.

That's this thread ruined, then.

Shame really, (going back on topic) I thought this show was really cool and was based on an interesting (although not entirely convincing) premise.

Dave Gorman was really funny, and I'd like to see him do this again with something else.

Ooooh nasty.  I'm not really fussed if you delete the posts, or even the character.  I'll just sign up as a new user.  Anyway I only get on here every now and then - I'm just trying to make up for the spaces in between.

Keep thinking Kryten.

Slightly off topic but still sane (kind of) who saw that Dwarves in showbiz thing last night?  It was weird and stupid.
