I "found" all the episodes and the movie.  I honestly can't remember where I heard that CN was trying to get it renewed.

Even if it's true, I doubt they'd succeed.  Although you can make a reasonable case for Spike surviving in the end, I can't think of how you could have a major plot drive with all the main characters' pasts resolved.

Plus, aside from the 'getting shot in the heart' business, there'd be nothing more left for Spike to do. The series wrapped up too nicely and to add to it would severly damage the story.

I...voted for "The Oblongs"...

1. Because nobody voted for it
2. It's a great show. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKES THE DARK COMEDY THAT IS THE OBLONGS!

...Sorry, I felt a little Zoidberg-like there.
Minus the Crusteacean stuff.

EDIT: Now, I would have voted for Harvey Birdman, but I like Oblongs better.

EDIT2: I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKES THE OBLONGS! YAY!

Home Movies is on after Futurama, at least it was Monday and last night.  Much to my dismay, I've heard it is being replaced by Family Guy in April.  I haven't seen any advertising for the switch though.

I voted for Sealab 2021!!! YEAH!!!  Sure I love Home Movies, I just find Sealab 2021 to be so idiotic and assinine that it's funny, funnier than Home Movies anyway.  Harvey Birdman is extremely funny.  I've also loved many episode of Space Ghost, it's been out there.

ads are usually done 2 weeks in advance. CN hasn't even put out a press release for Family Guy yet. or 1 week in the case of Adult Swim Action. expect Trigun ads to begin during Saturday Video Entertainment System this weekend.

but don't be discouraged about the switch. Home Movies is coming back in late summer with a 4th season consisting of 13 episodes.

Ah dont make me choose, I like aquateen, Harvey Birdman, sealab, spaceghost. I never saw oblongs on it, although i have seen it on channel nine. I dont get why everyone likes Home movies. I reckon they oughtta bring Invader Zim to Adult swim. If futurama qualifies, the Zim should too

Nope Nick is going to keep their hands on Zim, last Nicktoon they gave up was a big hit (Doug) and I think they will not do the same with Zim. Great show, makes me want to kill Nick for what they did.

I enjoyed Invader Zim the few times I saw it.  I like the darker style of animation it has.  I actually saw an episode last Saturday while I was channel flipping.  Does Nickelodeon treat the show like fox treats Futurama (rarely showing it)?

pretty much. Zim is to Nick as Futurama is to FOX. constantly getting pre-empted, almost zero promotion, terrible timeslot, has 6 episodes left that for some reason Nickelodeon isn't going to air. which is just $7.2 million gone to waste, but of course it'll probably end up a tax writeoff.

it also costs as much as Futurama.

also i dont think Zim should be on Adult Swim, reason being: it's a kids show. i think it would fit best on that Saturday Video Entertainment System block on CN that's getting a lot of older kid teen viewers.

btw, CN will soon be premiering a quite expensive show called Low Brow in December. personally I can't wait to see it!

Man Zim is cool.  Nickelodeon sucks now, they've gotten rid of all the funny animation they had, and now they promote crap like TeenNick, Lesbo O' Donnel, Rugrats, and Rocket Power >: (

Home Movies is the only show I watch on Adult Swim besides Futurama, and only because it comes on right after it.

I dunno...now that "Trigun"'s on Adult Swim, Futrama has some competition. Well, the combined goodness of "Cowboy Bebop" and "Trigun" is excellent...too bad they're not back to back.  :(

The suckage that is "Reign" is kind of a blot on the lineup. I guess there are fans out there who like homoerotic geometry lessons, but I'm not one of them.

This was pissing me off before, but I finally realized who does the English dub for Vash the Stampede. It's the same voice actor who does Kanneda in the Akira re-dub. That's so weird...and completely not fitting the character

I'm scoping TriGun for the first time, but I have to agree about Reign.... Gawd.  Alexander the Great is spinning in his grave.

And, I like the Oblongs for being off the wall, and for being a documentary of the classism in this country.

I also enjoy the other shows about equally, except Home Movies which has it's ups and downs to me.

I dunno - I think the English voice is similar enough to the Japanese voice to not make that much of a difference.  And Millie sounds like a dumb blonde - just as God intended!

Adult Swim has gone back to their old promos.  For the past few days they have aired old promos like Leela giving some guy CPR and he faints when he sees Leela.  I haven't seen those promos since April 2003.  What made them stop using the black and white messages?

Adult Swim is a late-night, sort of mini-channel, on cartoon network. But that's really all I know about it. ;)

It's a programming block on from, I believe 11pm-3am Eastern every night except Friday pm/Saturday am.  It's the best place on TV to see Futurama...hell, it's the best animated shows on TV period:
The Great Cancelled Wonders (as in I wonder why they were cancelled) Futurama and Family Guy
Venture Bros. (which isn't on this poll because the poll's old)
Aqua Teen
Sealab 2021
Space Ghost
Harvey Birdman
occasionally some animé...the list goes on.
