Franken Furter from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

*gets subsequently mocked*

Look, I haven't been allowed to see the real horror movies. Even of the two I have seen, I can't remember anyone's names. I don't even count Signs cause I was watching it on a crowded bus with low volume... couldn't hear a word they were saying.

If I hadn't made it obvious. Creature from the black lagoon is teh bomb. He was much more realistic than today's horror characters, in that he could be harmed. Plus..he could eat the flesh from your bones in a matter of seconds.

Well, I voted for Michael Myers, only because he was scary as hell in the first Halloween movie.  Funny enough, in the credits, the killer (Michael) is listed as 'The Shape'.  For some reason, I like that better than him being called Michael.  It gave the killer in the first movie more of a supernatural feel to him, he wasn't a person, but a "Shape", that and the white Captain Kirk mask is much better then, than the plain 'ol white mask they have him wear now.

Ash in the original Evil Dead was great, but the sequels (Army of Darkness) wasnt just in the spirit of infamous Evil Dead. Just something about comedy & horror in the same movie, isnt a good mix.

..But thats just my opinion

I'm partial to Pinhead from the Hellraiser series of films. Also, though not a single character, the Borg from ST:TNG are very unique and creative "monsters"...

Billy and Stu from Scream. No question. Oh, and fazeshift, where'd you get "jebus" from. I have a friend who uses it all the time; I thought she made it up.

"Jebus" was first coined by Homer Simpson in that missionary episode and then again in Family Guy in the Pope kidnapping episode.

A hilarious substitute messiah for modern day life.  :D

*BUMPFIED!*

Lets see, (these aren't in order):

Freddy- He's in your head. What would you do?
Michael Myers- He blew someone's head up once, H6 was the best movie in the series.
Chuckie- Oh come on! No one here is afraid of a doll? I sure as hell am.
Ghostface (Scream Trilogy)- Favorite horror flick EV-A. The last killer, much less movie, was confusing but it twas all good.
The guy from the Vanishing- I mean the original forigen one. That was the scariest ending!
Devil/ Linda Blair- Exorcist is scary. But that girl. Can you picture waking up to that? Creepy.

and,

Wallace and Grumet- ...shut up.

Jack Torrence- The Shining is probably my favourite horror movie of all time, and as Jack's condition progresses throughout the movie, everything just gets more and more fucked up.
