That series aired when I was still young (yep...that's how old it is...that's how old).
Never got to watch it by then. But -after finding the DVDs for a fair price at a local store- decided to give it a try.

Just finished season 1 so far, and I quite liked it.
Despite the obviously sinister setting, the whole series still manages to uphold a light hearted touch, and does not celebrate some self-proclaimed darkness.
Sometimes the show gets a tad stereotypical, but I would not hold it against the writers. The affected scenes/characters do not come off as lame, but rather as catching up with an old friend/acquientance.

It's just...nice. Compared to series like Dexter, Spartacus, Breaking Bad, etc.. , "Forever Knight" features some harmless naivety, that is cute and touching in a way.
