Cartoons have great music, enough to win Emmies even. List your favorites here, and if you can remember, the lyrics.

Freakazoid!:
Super-teen extraordinaire
Freakazoid! Freakazoid!
Runs around in underwear
Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

Rescues Washington D.C.
Freakazoid! Freakazoid!
Unless something better's on TV
Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

His brain's overloading
It has a chocolate coating
Textbook case for Sigmund Freud
Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

Check out Dexter Douglas
Nerd computer ace
Went surfing on the internet
And was zapped to cyberspace

He turned into the Freakazoid
He's strong and super-quick
He drives the villains crazy
'Cause he's a lunatic

His home base is the Freakalair
Freakazoid! Fricassee!
Floyd the Barber cuts his hair
Freakazoid! Chimpanzee!

Rides around in the Freakmobile
Freakazoid! Freakazoo!
Hopes to make a movie deal
Freaka me! Freaka you!

He's here to save the nation
So stay tuned to this station
If not, we'll be unemployed
Freakazoid! Freakazoid!
Freakazoid!!!

The adventures of Pete & Pete
Hey smiling strange,
You're looking happily deranged,
Can you sale the shim-ba?
Or have you picked your dog out yet?

Hey Sandy! (I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie)
Does your dog bite? (I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie)
Hey Sandy?

Barking away,
End of species is the end of the day.
We was only funning.
But guilty, I thought she had it coming.

Hey Sandy! (I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie)
Does your dog bite? (I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie)
Hey Sandy?

(Calypso guitar)

(Jamming gutiar)

(I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie) Hey Sandy!
Does your dog bite? (I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie)
Hey Sandy?

(I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie) Hey Sandy!
Does your dog bite? (I, Y-Ie, Y-Ie, Y-Ie)
Hey Sandy? Hey!

(Calypso guitar)

Seasons 8 & 9 MST3 Theme:
In the not too distant future,
Somewhere in time and space
Mike Nelson and his robot pals,
Are caught in an endless chase
Pursued by a woman whose name is Pearl,
Just an evil gal who wants to rule the world
She threw a few things in her purse,
And in her rocketship she hunts him,
All across the universe! ("I'll get youuu!" )

"I'll send him cheesy movies,
"The worst we I find (la-la-la)
"He'll have to sit and watch them all,
"And I'll monitor his mind (la-la-la)
Now keep in mind Mike can't control,
Where the movies begin or end (la-la-la)
He'll try to keep his sanity,
With the help of his robot friends

Robot Roll Call:
Cambot ("You're on" )
Gypsy ("Oh, my stars" )
Tom Servo ("Check me out" )
Croooow! ("I'm different" )

If you're wondering how he eats and breathes,
And other science facts (la-la-la)
Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show,
I should really just relax".
For... MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000!

Oh for crying out jesus! Why do you people keep listing MST3K as a cartoon? Am I the only one on this message board who doesn't confuse live-action puppetry with animation?

Daring duck of mystery,
Champion of right,
Swoops out of the shadows,
Darkwing owns the night.
Somewhere some villain schemes,
But his number's up.

(3-2-1) Darkwing Duck (When there's trouble you call DW)
Darkwing Duck (Let'sget dangerous)
Darkwing Duck (Darkwing, Darkwing Duck!)

Cloud of smoke and he appears,
Master of surprise.
Who's that cunning mind behind
That shadowy disguise?
Nobody knows for sure,
But bad guys are out of luck.

'Cause here comes (Darkwing Duck)
Look out! (When there's trouble you call DW)
Darkwing Duck (Let's get dangerous)
Darkwing Duck (Better watch out, you bad boys)
Darkwing Duck!

Can't remember the name of the cartoon, the lyrics of the song or how exactly it went, but it was something to do with a golden city, airing around 1990, and it was one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard...

Does that mean I can't mention the Thunderbirds theme tune?  :(
